What a magical place to have a wedding, the people on site were helpful and the food provided by the site was really tasty. A lot of us were camping for the weekend and being "nature" types we were OK. It is wilderness style camping, so don't expect a shower block.

Went with the kids over Easter and had a bunny hunt and the kids went on a zip wire which they loved. A great place!

Love this place ..... have been two days running for the Easter bunny hunt which is just a convenient excuse for a fun walk in the woods...... wonderful people who clearly love what they do and have a real passion for the place itself.... plenty of demos which are great for kids ..... a playground and a cafe/BBQ which served... Our first visit here and only a few minutes drive from Crowborough, this is a great place to bring your kids and let them run around outside and build camps in the woods! There are also zip wires, rope swings and a small playground. Plenty to do for children with imagination. You can enrol in Forest a School and book... More

Purely by chance we happened upon Wilderness Wood when driving through looking for somewhere to walk our dog. There was loads going on, plenty to see and do, loads to keep kids entertained, and most importantly many great trails through the woods. Really reminded me of scout camps long ago, wood crafts and camps and other activities. I would be... More

Attractive place to meet friends for a coffee. The menu is limited so would not be in a hurry to return for anything except a coffee.

A family outing to collect a tree which had been reserved several weeks ago. Wilderness Wood is a fascinating place to visit, especially for children who can explore the great outdoors, enjoy refreshments and "home made" cakes etc. in the café. Also for sale are hand made "artisan" items and many other organised events are advertised. It is just al... More

We visited here with friends and children who ranged in age from 3 to 9. Having never been here before I was unsure what to expect but as it turns out we were in for a truly magical day. We were blessed with perfect autumnal weather when we visited, but weather aside we couldn't of asked for a more back-to-nature,... More
