We attended the Classic Car event which, if it is held again in 2020, I would recommend as there were loads of classic and vintage cars parked on two large grass areas in front of the Hall. Some of the cars drove up and down...More

A warm welcome and excellent tea room... pleased to see compostable water cups... the gardens are beautiful and planting imaginative. The food in the tea rooms for lunch was to an amazingly high standard and made on site..

I went with friends on the hottest day of the year and it was the best place to be! Beautiful gardens, very peaceful. We had the Vintage Afternoon tea in The Coach House Tea Rooms and it was well worth it. I'm a Coeliac and...More

Visited yesterday with my husband on very hot day. We were very impressed with the gardens. You enter through a lovely orchard avenue between the wonderful moated Tudor redbrick mansion and the deer park. Lots of young red deer coming right up to the fence....More

My wife and I visited on 23rd July a very hot and sunny day. No coaches at all and less than 24 cars in car park. All the staff at entrance shops and restaurant were very friendly and engaging. My wife purchased a hat from...More

The gardens are wonderful to explore, in many ways the epitome of an English garden. Wide variety of plants and planting which seems to evolve each year and which we found inspiring. In places the hall and gardens are a little shabby and in need...More

We arrived early having cycled a fair way. The cafe staff member deserves a bonus as she kindly offered us a cup of tea even though not yet open. A beautiful place with some lovely flowers and huge old oaks. Thank you
