These natural pools between lava outcroppings against crashing waves was breathtaking! Wish we brought our swimsuits as it looked truly amazing to be swimming in these pools. The water looked clean, refreshing and safe.

A beautiful place for a visit or a swim, with natural pools enhanced by unobtrusive terracing and access. Black rocks and blue sea make an enchanting combination, with white spray adding to the drama. Our visit was brief, but you could spend a whole day...More

A very very very windy place to be, yet a nice landscape to appreciate and the smell of ocean. Bring your swimsuit and attempt the natural ponds and its strong waves ! There are a few stands for food, and a restroom to get changed.

Even if you are not in a swimming mood, the close encounter of tranquillity and the brutal forces of nature are an invitation to spend some time over here.

Unfortunately it was not warm enough to swim while we were there (except for a few that did not stay in very long). But the views of the blue water crashing on the black rocks were amazing. The little tide pools were very nice to...More

Nature has done great work in creating this bizzare place. The natural swimming pools are made up of volcanic rocks, formed aeons ago, when molten lava "froze" in cold water of the Ocean. Now the surroundings rocks have been converted into pleasant place to swim...More

This was absoltuely gorgeous. I have to say that our private tour guide, Gui Bruges, took us to the most amazing locations around the island. Its hard to choose which one was the most spectacular because they all were stunning. Gui really gave us a...More
