About
The Grange Spa is an award winning, family run, local Lincolnshire business. Winning both the Thalgo Day Spa of the Year 2013 and The Professional Beauty Day Spa of the Year 2015. We are a young couple, Matt and Emma, that started out with an idea for a great little spa, we wanted to create a custom built retreat for both visitors near and far. Using the finest product ranges, a great selection of heat experiences and a skilled enthusiastic team we provide a perfect little hit of relaxation. Everything we do at TGS is shaped by this idea. We provide stress relief in beautiful surroundings with fabulous therapists to look after you.

I have rated this poor not for the treatment that I received as that was in fact vey good. What I think is poor is that the bookings I made were altered, I had left a gap between them to meet a friend locally and go back, the spa did not consult me but simply left a voice mail the day before my treatments. This I put down to bad luck. When I had completed my first treatment, the hour I had to wait - which I had planned to be 2 and a half had they stuck to the booking was in fact much longer. An hour and 15 minutes passed and I went to the desk to see why my therapist had not come for me to hear "we are running late today". I decided I had wasted enough time and paid for the one treatment and left. The Grange managed to ruin my day not once but twice, moving my bookings and having done so then wasted my time with delays. Admin and communication let this down. A shame as it was recommended to me by friends and we all live within 30 minutes of the place.

Good Morning Jane,
We are incredibly sorry to hear that your time with us was not as it should have been. Your feedback is invaluable to us, it has prompted us to look into our communication channels and look at how we can more effectively communicate with our guests. We had altered the treatments and we did attempt to contact you leaving a message, this was done from a good place as we thought an hour gap in between the treatments giving you time to relax and have a pastry and a drink would actually aid your visit with us, unfortunately this did not work out as intended and we can only apologise for the impact that this had on your experience with us. The therapist was running 15 minutes late, this was due to the previous guest being caught up in a RTA on the A15 that morning causing them to be late for their spa day with us, this was somewhat out of our control. Thank you very much for your feedback this will help us to look at our communications and improve them for future guests.
Warmest Regards
Matt Craven

What a lovely chilled out day my husband and I had from the moment of walking into the grange spa. The spa is beautiful, spotless and has such a calm ambiance. It never felt over crowded and really did have a personal touch. Staff were very friendly and attentive and their priority was for you to enjoy your day.Loved the pool it was lovely and warm, steam room and saunas were immaculate and very calming. We enjoyed the delicious lunch which tasted home made and cake was scrummy.we had treatments and found the therapists very friendly and professional and totally enjoyed was so relaxing. All in all we had a super chilled out day at a superb spa with lovely staff.Would so recommend this spa if you are looking for a blissful day not over crowded with a personal touch. The Grange Spa has it all. Thank you for a lovely day and hope to return. :-)

Amazing treat!! Recently visited for second time to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary (by relaxing!!) We had a full Spa day with Foot treatment & Stress Buster Massage both which were lovely. The setting and layout are perfect and the team are so welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed a peaceful sit in the garden with some bubbles which rounded off a perfect day. If you want true relaxation, a yummy lunch and peace & quiet ... this is your place!

We recently visited The Grange for the first time, for a special mother and daughter treat. A fabulous location, facilities were great - very relaxing, lunch was very tasty, and the staff were very friendly and attentive ... what more can I say. We both were very sleepy by the time we got home and I would fully recommend coming here to truly unwind. We will definitely return!

After giving birth 8 weeks ago my mum treated us to a spa day at the Grange. It’s easily the best spa I’ve been to and that includes the sanctuary & champneys. The whole place is very clean & peaceful. Everyone is helpful. The robes are super soft. Because it’s smaller, there are less people, so is really peaceful & relaxing. My treatment was great & unlike the other places they aren’t always trying to sell you products. Becky my therapist was really nice & very good. The lunch was lovely. I only have two criticisms which are I wish they had overnight accommodation & although I had a whole day booked it didn’t feel long enough, I wish I was going back tomorrow!

I paid my second visit to the Spa with one of my daughters and we both had a really relaxing day. I cannot speak highly enough about the Grange. It is a small spa but perfectly formed. The staff treat you as an individual not as part of a production line as I have experienced at larger, more famous establishments. They go out of their way to ensure that you, the guest, have everything you need even telling you to "put your feet up" on the settess if that is what you want to do!. The downside for us - it was Valentines Day which we hadn't realised when we booked so there were quite a few couples unlike most Spa visits but that was our fault. With a maximum of around 20 guests per day it didn't feel crowded in any way.
The treatments were excellent with well trained therapists. There is unfortunately no accommodation at the Spa. Go on treat yourself.

My third visit to The Grange Spa - it's perfect. Really clean, beautiful decor, fab therapists, excellent customer service, delicious food, lots of cake! The best thing is that it's never crowded - they have a maximum of 18 clients a day so it's really personal and you often get the facilities to yourself. The foundation facial is so relaxing, I always fall asleep. Already booked for next month!

I am 64yrs old, a bit plump and look nothing like the athletic young things you usually see in brochures for Spas. My stressed-out daughter who it a teacher and I needed to spend some quality time to catch-up together, so we looked around for somewhere to go. The thing that drew me towards The Grange was that on it's website there were women my size lounging around the pool. (Funny enough when I mentioned this later to my daughter, she said she noticed the same thing!)
So we booked a day with a back massage and a pedicure. When we arrived the welcome was so friendly. We were shown around the Spa, with it's gym, heated pool with waterfall, steam rooms of all kinds, Quiet room with fabulous furniture and sensory bed, library, cafe, outdoor sunbeds and so much more.
We had our back massage, and then got a book from the library and lounged in the quiet room reading for a while. My daughter tried the sensory bed and felt very relaxed. Next a dip in the pool, followed by our pre-booked lunch which was scrummy.
We were like small excited children not knowing where to go next, so we tried everything and enjoyed it all. Mid afternoon was time for a bit of naughty cake and coffee, yummy! Later we had a marvelous pedicure together and had a good laugh with the girls which made the whole experience so much nicer.
Considering when we arrived at 10am, I wondered how we would fill in the 8 hours till 6pm would be there, but the time flew by and we still could have stayed some more. But the staff had homes to go to!
All in all a fabulous day out. Result a happy daughter and a happy fat mum! So don't think that spas are only for 'posh' people with more money than sense. I felt very at home as an 'ordinary' person needing a treat, and you would too.

What a beautiful find!! It’s taken me a few weeks to write this review as I’ve been so relaxed ever since. This boutique spa is far more personal than any other main stream spa I've been too, they actually care and treat you like an individual rather than just a number. All of The Grange spa team were super attentive with multifarious qualities. I imagine working here must be a great place to work. My therapist Natalie (an unforgettable name) was incredible. Her client care and attention to detail made me feel like a million dollars. If anyone is thinking of booking a treatment I would strongly recommend the Pinks Boutique Eco Chic facial- I’ve never had such a relaxing facial!
If your looking for a peaceful escape to relax and unwind.. then look no further.
Thankyou!

My 2 daughters and I spent a full day at this spa and had a lovely day. Firstly, it's in a very peaceful setting with a large well kept garden with comfortable furniture where we were able to spend a lot of our time as the weather was hot and sunny. The staff are welcoming and attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It was such a welcome change to be in a smaller spa where we often had the pool/sauna areas to ourselves and we never felt on top of other guests which can happen at the larger ones. This makes for a very relaxing experience. The lunch was absolutely delicious and they catered very well for me as a Coeliac. I can see that the owners have worked very hard to make this spa a success and it's paid off so Well done and Thank you for a lovely day!

Would this spa be suitable to treat my disabled mom for her 90th birthday. Obviously wouldn’t use the pool but is there anything else that would be suitable?
