We visit quite often as my sister lives close by She takes the dog for a walk and we take our grand daughter atound the park. We also use the cafe. A very nice visif every time we go.

This is a lovely place to visit, especially with children. Lots to explore. Very quiet when we visited we practically had the place to ourselves. Lovely cafe with delicious cakes. Could do with some TLC

We returned after 2 years. Still a great day out. Now they have a toy museum there too. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of craft activities for kids. Service in tea room has improved too. Just remember wellies or good footwear as woods very muddy.More

Went here today lovely manor and grounds a bit muddy but will be better in summer plenty of things to do for the children lovely walks and lovely woods only thing was the cafe not enough staff and really busy so had to wait about...More

The grounds are free to get in, but you have to pay for parking. It's a flat rate for the day. Not sure how much. If you want to look round the house, there is a charge. But, it's a fab place for a picnic so makes a cheap... More
