I thought the previous ownership ran a more fairly priced business. Prices have jumped from $70 to $120, for a very good, enjoyable golf experience, but much better value can be found elsewhere, it’s like a ClubLink thing to do..ruin a good course by jacking up prices. Too bad. My golf buddies and I have found new, more affordable golf experiences, woodington is off our list sadly, we feel completely ripped off.

Played the Legacy yesterday Oct 6 2020. It took 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete. Why? No Marshalling and absolutely rude elderly foursome ahead of us. At least 2 complete holes in front of them were empty all the time. I was in a group of two, two behind s and a foursome behind them all waiting together on the tee most holes. We asked to play through and they flatly refused. The group behind us called the clubhouse and reported it and no Marshall ever showed up. Now I’m reading other reviews and see this is a common complaint. Over priced, poorly run, under construction and very confusing. We will not return.

Played the Legacy Course in June and was greatly disappointed with the conditioning. Sand traps were a disaster and it looked like very little work had been done on them this spring. Also the fairways were very dry. Quite disappointed for a lovely course that lacked maintenance. And no reduction in prices!

This is a 36 hole gem, home of the Ontario Open. As such it is challenging for the low handicappers from the tips, but it doesn’t punish us med-handicappers on its excellent variety of holes. Surprisingly, water is a factor on only a couple of holes on the Legends course I played. Otherwise, a fine variety of narrow and wide fairways that challenge every player. The fairways and greens are immaculate, but the greens, thought large, are heavily sloped making putts difficult. The 18th hole was a bit gimmicky, but we were rewarded by the wild life.

Course was in great shape, it was tough and challenging but overall a very nice course. Frustrating that even though there were 17mins between tee-off times, the two-some behind us started 4mins after we did and were riding us every hole. Normally we would let a twosome pass us, but it was a busy day and they had nowhere to go, and they almost hit us with their balls (twice!) Really wish the marshalls controlled when people tee'd off, for the price we paid, they should be
