Heaps of plants to see, and a lot of the orchids where in flower so you could see the results of care taken.

We were attracted by the glossy brochures plus I was attracted by the promise of Devonshire Tea. On arrival we were met by a rather grumpy lady who told us she was the only one there & promptly lead us to a run down office to fork over $7 each. She said tea & coffee was available on the verandah of the house, but 'Fancy' coffee was available - presumably they only had Caterer's Blend or the other brand of instant coffee that has 43 beans in every cup. Quite frankly there was nothing to see - I can see as much by visiting my local plant nursery - there were rows & rows of overgrown plants, a few orchids here & there & that was it really. Naturally we didn't take up the offer of Devonshire Tea & coffee. We both felt we'd wasted our time visiting. So, unless its improved dramatically since we visited, I'd suggest you don't waste your time visiting

We had a great time with Jenny. We came for the scones with jam and cream and certainly were not disappointed. It was a pleasure to spend time with her. She is an inspiration to all women.

Jenny's Orchid Garden has a range of areas encompassing vast shaded areas, lush rainforest and exotic collections of magnificent tropical plants. The shaded areas have huge numbers of ferns, bromeliads and so many others I can't name, both indoor and outdoor plants. As for the orchids, they are amazing. Hundreds and hundreds of them, all well organized, and many of them flowering. The variety of colours, patterns and sizes was amazing. The rainforest area has huge trees, just covered in climbing plants and vines. And there are flowers everywhere.
