A fairly long beach that seems to be cooperatively well maintained by the beach front properties. clean. A few hawkers, but not intrusive. Enough shade for the sun shy. Very gentle surf, perfect for kids. No more than waist deep for a long way out....More

Jose, was absolutely amazing tour guide. He took passion in telling us about the culture and heritage of Santo Domingo. I loved the waterfall where we got to interact with the locals of the community..... A++++++++++++++++++++++ πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸ

I am coming in to spend time with my finance who lives in Santo Domingo and wanted to know if anybody knows of a quiet hotel we stay at and that might be walking distance to Don Julio beach. Not looking for the commercialized all inclusive hotels but, something romantic and quiet and with AC. Thanks!
