My wife and I stopped here in August on our 2018 cross country road trip. This museum provides a very comprehensive look at the history of Bass River area and gives a good appreciation of the importance of forestry to the area. It also has outdoor displays that trace the importance of the Dominion Chair Company to the community. It’s a must see stop on the Glooscap Trail. We found it quite interesting.

A nice little local museum on the highway that provides a well curated exhibit of local items and history. There are lots of photos of locals and many households items relating to times past. Housed in a former church, the museum has a large parking lot. Of interest to local historians.

they have some great items to view and a wonderful memorial is across the road, that honours our Veterans. The Museum is well laid out and plenty to see about this area.
