Daniel from Rift Valley Cultural was absolutely fantastic during the two days he spent with us. The optional village tour, in particular, was a standout, featuring the best meal I had on my entire trip! Daniel was friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderfully humorous, always happy to share insights even beyond our questions. His passion and energy truly made a lasting impression, and he’s an exceptional ambassador for Intrepid’s partnership. The information he provided and the unforgettable moments he helped create were beyond anything I could have anticipated.

The food at Mto wa Mbu was something of this world - such delicious taste of Tanzanian cuisine. The tour was organized in a very short notice. But Philiph the guide was amazing we visited Tarangire, we had local food amazing food in Mto wa Mbu, wonderful serene peaceful accommodation at the Farm house in Karatu, enjoyed a trip to Ngorongoro - it was just a Easter weekend which exceeded our expectations.. Thank you Philiph and Deo .. I will do it again and again

We have spent our jorney with Daniel who has been a fantastic guide! He has explained everything perfect to us, giving all the details and looking for us to understand him. He speaks Spanish and makes funny jokes. Hope Daniel grows up in his career!!!

First day we had an amazing walk through bananaplantage and the local market. Tourguides know much and speak German/Englisch. They let us tasted food at the market. Second day we had an mountainbike tour. We wanted to go to the waterfall and that was no problem. The waterfall was wonderfull en we could clime to it. Thank our guides for this amazing experience. We would never see this things without a guide.

We had the pleasure of enjoying the company of Franky our 24/7 guide in Mto wa Mbu and a driver hired from the same company, on our three day visit.
Franky took good care of us, and attended to our comforts from the airport pickup to the final greeting before our Safari.
I would recommend the stay in Mto wa Mbu as a separate thing from your safari tour package, as the tour operators will only take you to plain lodges and touristy Masai villages.
In the day time our driver and Franky (local guide) from Rift Valley Cultural, followed us and introduced us to small pubs, villages, plantations, rented bikes and took us hiking.
All in all a wonderful experience.

Traveling with a group of friends, we stayed for a couple of days at lake Manyara. On the first day we went to see a Masai village and on the second day we were on a safari. Our guide, Philipo, who was completely fluent in English, was very knowledgeable and approachable at all times. As a consequence we not only learned a lot about wildlife but also had several conversations about understanding different cultural perspectives.
We finished the trip with very tasty local food and a cold beer.
A truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you Philipo!
