Glasform is located in the heart of the Fylde Coast a short journey from Blackpool, Preston and Lytham St. Annes. The furnace runs 365 days a year in what was the shippon used to house the cows when Pointer House Farm was once a Dairy farm. We are open to the public and in an informal setting, visitors can watch the glassblowers at work using techniques hundreds of years old. There is also a showroom full of beautiful handmade glass to view and purchase.

We spent a rainy afternoon choosing gifts for ourselves and watching the artist at work. It is quite special to take things home after watching the artist himself creating similar items. We bought a piece of jewelry with glass created here and then converted by a local jeweler with sterling silver. Also a little glass mouse with metal ears and... More

We called into Glasform to experience this amazing man at work (note the name John Ditchfield), we were awe inspired by John's artistry and skill, what he does is nothing short of amazing, you will see a free demonstration of this genius at work, and the go have a look at some of his works which are for sale, breathtaking... This is an unusual but at the same time unique attraction for any visitors. Primarily it is a glass blowing/production shop but the items they produce are one offs, no two are the same. Its an interesting trip out, not far fro Blackpool and always a great place to pick up that something for a gift or present. They have... More

Have visited several times and watched the Master Glassblower at work, free demonstrations as John makes various items just feet away from you, It's fascinating to watch him perform the various techniques needed to create the various layers before a finished piece appears ! (Well, finished at that stage of the process) A very relaxed atmosphere and a lovely friendly... More

Not really a good place to take young children, but I've never let that stop me from doing something I really want to do. There are very few places where you can actually watch the glass being worked so I'm very happy to discover that glasform has the workshop right there and chairs so you can watch a piece or... More

Stopped here on our way through to our static. Brilliant to show children how glass is made and to see true craft men at work. Purchased a gift for a birthday, which is great for collections. Definitely recommend that you stop by to have a look!

4 of us called in here to watch a Master Glass blower do his stuff. He never lets you down, always producing something that you know and would probably like to own - which I guess is what he counts on.

Drove to tihis farm like place to see the master glass maker. A stunning sight to watch. He blows and makes the most stunning of glass objects. Then there is a shop where you can buy all manner of lovely things. A great way to spend an afternoon.
