Fascinating Little Museum
Sep 2020
This is an excellent little museum with friendly and helpful staff.

It would be a great day out for firms or societies with an interest in engineering as it has a strong educational leaning.

It is also very interesting from a historic perspective with lots of information about the Bugatti family too.

Well worth a visit for a couple of hours at least.

Highly Recommended!

My husband and I visited the Bugatti Trust together and had a really brilliant visit. The museum is small but absolutely crammed with drawings, videos and information. We spent an hour there, but you could easily spend far longer as there’s so much to look at and read! Sue, on the desk was so brilliant from booking over the phone, to welcoming us when we arrived. There were clear markers for distancing and the whole set up had clearly been very well considered to keep people safe from Coronavirus.

I would highly recommend a visit to anybody. Even if you’re not passionate about cars, there’s plenty of really interesting things to see.

Tickets were only £5 per person but there’s the option to leave a donation to help the charity.

a niche museum
Nov 2019
For Bugatti fans, or any classic car fans this is a small but exquisite museum where you can properly examine the examples of Bugatti's work on display.
No on site cafe as such but we were made welcome on arrival with a cup of coffee.
Really charming

Small but fascinating

Not just for Bugatti aficionados. If you have an interest in cars, engineering and art you’ll always find a great mixture of all three. A great insight into a fascinating family.

A little gem of a museum
Nov 2018
A few, quite wonderful Bugatti cars are on display along with examples of Ettore Bugatti’s engineering prowess. On site are 27,000 original drawings and over 10,000 historic photographs, all of which can accessed for research.
The museum provides educational activities and workshops and facilities are available for private hire, group events and car club events.

More than just a car museum
Jul 2019 • Friends
It's small and it's niche appeal as it is about Bugatti Cars. But also about the family who were also engineers, artists, sculpturers, etc. A great little museum packed with history about motor racing, early 20th century cars and family life.

We were staying in our touring caravan at Pardon Hill Farm site, this is across the road from the museum.
What a great place to visit, we were there on a Tuesday & 4 of us were the only visitors.
The staff were brilliant.
I would recommend this place to anyone I think children would also would be interested.

It is adjacent to the Presscot Hill track..

An extraordinary place remembering an extraordinary family.

This solo traveller chanced upon the 'museum' by picking up a leaflet the day before. It is not a motor museum in the general sense of the word, indeed few vehicles are actually on display, but it is a mine of information on the Bugatti marque and indeed the wider talents of the Bugatti family.

I was warmly greeted by the curator, Angela Hucke, who explained about the trust and the visitor centre and gave me far more time than she probably had to spare and indeed checked up on me on numerous occasions to check I was njoying my visit. Other volunteers were also quite happy to chat with me, but I was also left alone to browse the technical and interesting exhibits on display.

By the time I finished 3 hours later, I felt that I had taken away a little bit of the Bugatti family with me and learnt something about engineering, design and art, in the process.

It was thoroughly interesting and the most amazing place, to the middle aged petrol head.

I was the only tourist in the place when I visited, so I can't comment on whether there are things to do for families or not, but if you are a motoring enthusiast and enjoy visiting transport attractions, as I do, you will not be disappointed, I assure you.

Based as it is, at the Prescott Hill Climb, I have a sneaking suspicion I will be back when the smell of petrol is in the air and the roar of engines are singing to me.
