We went as a family of four - two adults, a 13 year old and an 8 year old. I found the story of the chateau really interesting. The owner does the guided tours and is able to offer the history on each era of the chateau (it's had many uses over the years).
My husband and children were less enthusiastic about the visit but my youngest loved the frogs outside!
I'd recommend this visit to anyone who is interested in the World Wars, the French Revolution or historical buildings. I could seriously have stayed there all day!

This was amazing. We were taken around by the owner, whose enthusiasm was contagious!
His English was brilliant and he also had a great sense of humour.
There was also a gift shop with some interesting , unusual and reasonably priced items.
I could go into detail about it all, but I suggest you visit yourself and be amazed. Just check the times it is open and don't be put off by the locked gates, you go in by the
left side entrance by the gate.

Amazing Chateau in Northern France. Still lived in by owners. Check opening tomes before visiting. It's a little difficult to find but can be located on the Doullens road when just leaving Frevent
