The sand bar is 10 minutes by pump boat from the jump off point. Boat costs 450, good for six people. There is also an environmental fee of 20 per head. You can't stay past sunset because the pump boats don't have lights. It is a long stretch of white sand that is pristine. It has no commercial establishments or... More

We couldn't go at first due to high winds but managed to on our second day. If the weather is changeable make the most of this while it is available. It is really a must do as you get spectacular views and photos with the turquoise waters, hilly backdrop and very white sand. Make sure you take sunblock as it... More

best time to go there is early morning and just stay there until the sun sets and take photos photos photos. a never ending snap of your camera would be worthy. and of course the clear water is just so inviting and don't forget your sunnies and sun screen as there's no shade when you get there. Bring mat or... More

Just a piece of advice, wake up early and hire the first boat to this island if you want nice shots. 😃

took a kayak out to the island and its a great finish line! Beautiful white sand and you can relax for a couple of hours If you can chance it, there are sellers of fresh sea urchins and small fish. Have them raw with vinegar and soy sauce for a super fresh and delicious snack! Swimming around the island isn't... More

Yes go there, a natural wonder, more of a drifting sand bar than an island, changing shape with ocean currents. Rent an umbrella so you don't bake in the sun. Best time to go is late afternoon for taking pictures.

the best time to be there is early morning and before sunset as the sun tends to be so hot and the only shade available is if you rent some umbrellas. the beach is clean, the water refreshing, and snorkeling is ok. be sure not to get there too late as the boat men want to leave before 6pm.

This white island sandbar should be included in every traveler's bucket list when visiting Camiguin. You'll see fine sand, crystal clear water and a breathtaking view of Mt. Hibok-hibok in the background. I've been to the island twice--to view the sunrise and witness the sunset. But if you must choose, I recommend to visit the island by sunset. Because there... More

When Mt. Vulcan erupted in Camiguin island 300 centuries passed, small volcanoes formed around Mt. Vulcan called "Hibok-hibok," more or less seven , then a small white island in the middle of the deep blue sea formed. just few kilometers from the sunken cemetery of sea water. The white island is enchanting, like a face of the moon. Once you... More
