I've visited a lot of zoos and bird parks, and Le parc des oiseaux is one of the very best. I was particularly impressed by the layout of the parc. It's very spacious and beautifully landscaped. The aviaries are very large. And there are a lot of aviaries that you can enter which made the experience very exciting (also great... More

All kinds of birds, all beautifully kept and exposed. Very good show during which the birds flew a feet above us.

We had visited this park many years ago, it has changed a lot in the intervening years, with a larger collection of interesting birds. Two things disappointed us. The day we visited the flying display had been cancelled because of a musical concert, so check before you visit. Also we missed the feeding of the lorikeets, because this attraction closes... More

We loved it, such diversity of birds. My 2.5 years old was amazed by all the birds. We particularly loved the rainbow lorikeets feeding area, the little birds come to feed the nectar on you, great fun. You feel like a little kid yourself. A must "The birds show", it was amazing, with the birds flying just above your heads.... More

We spent a gorgeous sunny spring day at this bird park and really enjoyed it. The aviaries are well maintained and large, the park is huge and picturesque, the birds are magnificent and in all we thought it was one of best bird parks we have been too.

After years of driving by the signs to this place we decided to visit. What a dissapointment! We expected far more than this somewhat dreary bird park, much like a zoo aviary. We were hoping that we would be in a natural enviroment with some rare species. Perhaps okay for children but not worth the trip to see it for... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Parc - since our last trip they have opened a lorikeet feeding zone which is brilliant. You buy a pot of nectar (50 cents) and the rainbow lorikeets land on your arm/head/shoulders - great fun. The birds in fight show is not to be missed, a true spectacular. The various bird enclosures are... More

How to get youngsters into birdwatching, and birdwatchers eager to get out into the surrounding countryside to spot the next native species. Lively show/demo at the end of the afternoon (in the theatre by the lake): the commentary is in French, but the birds in flight are awesome enough on their own.

My husband and I stopped at the Parc de Oiseaux with no idea of what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. The small train around the lake was a great way to start the visit. Afterwards, we returned to see the areas that we found most interesting. This is a great attraction for families and anyone who enjoys seeing... More
