Although the car park was full the oak itself seemed quiet, we were alone most of the time. Loads of spots for picnics. There was an Australasian section with kangaroos and emus too, plus a few sheep! Nice to see lots of different birds, plenty...More

I went with my husband and my 2-year-old daughter and we loved everything there. We also watched a show of different kinds of birds that fly just above your head. It was just too hot and the sun was hard to bear.

This park was lovely and the bird variety was amazing. I think families would enjoy the visit. It is quite spread out so I would suggest bringing a stroller for younger children and definitely water and snacks.
