Taking small children to a wine tasting afternoon could have been a disaster, but thanks to the accommodating staff at Skizo we didn't have to miss out on sampling some of the get wines the Balaton region has to offer. The host was knowledgeable and provided explanations English for my benefit as the only Non-Hungarian in the party, although after the 5th glass on a hot summer afternoon they could probably have been in Arabic and I wouldn't have cared. A great visit, particularly after we managed to encourage my mother-in-law to take the children to the ice cream parlour a few doors down and then the play park just round the corner.

Badacsonytördemic is on the quiet side of the Badacsony region. You will not find a huge crowd here, but the there are several hiking trails up to the mountain or other destinations, well maintained vineyards and some restaurants. Skizo wine-house is located in the real centre of the village, next to the church. They offer a huge selection of different kinds of nice vine. The bar is located in a really traditional Badacsonytördemic house, with a nice tiny terrace. It's worth to visit!
Badacsonytördemic a Badacsony vidékének nyugodtabb oldalán található. Itt nem találsz nagy tömeget, de számos turistautat fel a hegyre vagy más úti célok irányába, szépen művelt szőlőket és pár éttermet. A falu közepén, a templom mellett található a Skizo borház. Nagy választékban kínálják a különböző jó minőségű boraikat. A borozó egy hagyományos Badacsonytördemici házban található, egy kicsi, kellemes terasszal. Érdemes meglátogatni.

If you want to sip nearly perfect wines in a cosy village this is your place to stop. The staff are not too pushy but have good sense of attention. I think the owner wanted to make a place where him/herself could eat and drink every day.

It's a perfect wine bar, the best, I have ever been. Divine wines, fine snacks. The bruschetta and ham sandwich are delicious. Hospitality is perfect. I love the interior as well.

It is not only the great, fresh and prefectly served wine we love here. The lovely couple, Réka and Balázs who own the place are also attracting us to come back to this small bar/winery close to the slopes of the Badacsony each summer during our holidays. Kids are not only welcome but are also offered a variety of home made drinks and snacks, games are also available. Try a traditional Hungarian zsíroskenyér that goes well to your Skizo wines.

If you are cycling around lake Balaton (or on any other occasion), you must visit Skizo as it’s like an oasis near by the route. The young staff is very welcoming and you can chill in great atmosphere with your lavender wine wishing that you could drink this each summer night. When you think it couldn’t get any better, your sandwich arrives with fresh vegetables. After this experience, you wish you could cycle around the whole lake right now just to visit this place once again.

A very warm-hearted couple, Reka and Balazs is the owner. They immediately invited us to taste their new wines and the special one as well: the lavender wine. It's a wonderful refreshing drink in summertime. Badacsonytördemic is almost beautiful, with cute wine cellars along the main road, but Skizo wine cellar seemed the most special for us. You have to try it once!

If you are ever nearby Badacsonytordemic, visiting Skizo is a must! The wine is great, the place is very well designed (as well as the wine bottles) and the service is awesome! Be prepared to taste some very delicious wine at Skizo and learn some fun facts about their history!

A nice small place what you want to visit and sit down to drink some of the finest wine of Balatonfelvidék while riding bike in the area, or driving by.
