Lovely experience
Oct 2019 • Family
We were on holiday in the area and came across 'climbaboard' when looking for something indoors to do on a chilly day! My children aged 6, twins aged 1 enjoyed themselfs and easily spent 3 hours here and had a lovely lunch. I agree with previous comments it can be cold especially when walking around without shoes but this cant really be helped considering the building its in. Its clean and staff were regularly cleaning tables and equipment. It was very quite and not many here and it is smaller then others we have been too ! With walking 1 year old twins who generally go in opposite directions the size and quietness suited us well.

Its OK
Oct 2019
Its OK for adults, the children think its great and keeps them busy. It appears to be clean when we went mid week and it was lovely and empty.

We have been to parties there which again were ok, not amazing or over the top but OK.

Its a soft play and of course I ask myself every time when ever I go to one, when were the balls taken out of the pit and washed? I may never know.

It does get chilly but then the adults are not running around like loony people. Worth a trip for a couple of hours.

OK but parents dress up warm
Jan 2019 • Family
This is a standard soft play. It has a small area for under 5s, the usual slides and climbs and a little basket ball area which is a nice addition.
The food is very average (as it is in most soft plays) Coffee is uninspiring - from what's basically a posh vending machine.
The one warning I would give - and the reason I've given it a low number of stars-there appears to be no heating what so ever. I haven't taken my coat off and have actually borrowed my child's hat as I am slowly turning to ice. It's fine for the kids running around but for parents it's a joke. Think I will be checking out the other soft plays in the area and avoiding this until the weather's warmer

First time for the grandson
Feb 2018 • Family
We were hoping to go to the park, but as it was bitterly cold, I suggested we went to this place. My grandson is just over 1 year old, so this was his first time to this kind of experience. The staff were welcoming. Other than a couple of other children & their parents we were the only other visitors. Although safe the equipment is looking tired, and the actual building was extremely cold. The toilets definitely need some attention. The facilities in general are ok, but the place could do with a good clean and a touch of paint.

Perfect soft play

Really good value at £4.50 per child (adults free) and a loyalty card scheme too. Never too busy and the staff are friendly and very good. A little off the beaten track (use Sat nav) but well worth it

Great time as always
Oct 2017 • Family
We are regulars are Climb Aboard.
And love it every visit.
Staff are always friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Manager/owner is very friendly.
Just seen a review above about it being dirty which is rather odd as we have been coming here for years and it’s very clean! And we always come on a week day and see the staff member busy out cleaning the equipment.
I recommend Climb Aboard to all my friends and will continue to do so.

dirty
Aug 2017 • Family
The entrance area and dining area floors (where shoes are permitted) were very sticky - not sure when it had last been mopped. The toys in the softplay showed a lot of wear and tear, and the floors too were quite filthy. We noticed several large and dusty cobwebs above the reception area. I made the mistake of sending my child in with light blue socks that came out very grey (won't be making that mistake again as we are never going back there again).
I was disappointed that we weren't offered a discount as we only had an hour to play (we arrived just after 4pm) and had to pay full price (£9.50 for 2 toddlers) for an hour.

I would not recommend this play centre to anyone.

Good climbing & play for the kids but long wait for lunch
Aug 2017 • Family
The boys (6 & 8) enjoyed the climbing and soft play area but lunch was a huge disappointment. Ordering 3x paninis at 12.30pm we were actually served the at 2.00pm an hour and a half later. I was told they didn't have any ham so agreed to just cheese paninis. Other people's food came out but ours didn't. I asked a few times at the counter and they kept saying, "we are very busy" and "yours have just gone in the panini maker". I suggested free cake as a response for the slow service. This was not upheld. When they arrived they actually had ham in as it transpired someone had gone to the shops to get it! They seemed quite dis-organised in the kitchen and lacked staff, making coming into the centre a long wait too as only one girl was employed to serve food/take orders and check children in.

Seems to have gone downhill?
Jul 2017 • Family
Freezing cold in the winter which stopped us going and a pretty grumpy lady running it now who closed 2 hours early without warning/money back... shame as it used to be great.

Fun had by all
Jun 2016 • Family
Our Granddaughter had her 4th birthday and she had a lovely time with her friends. The activity was well organised, plenty of staff on hand, a birthday tea to every child's desire. The play area is great with a variety of frames, tunnels, etc. Would recommend!
