Very nice beach. Lovely fine golden sand. Great for families as the water gently slopes away. You need a wind break here. Great RNLI lifeguards. We parked behind Betty's shop for £3.50 all day. This was really close and I was happy with the money....More

We visited twice during our holiday. Beautiful bay with sandy beach and stunning views. Lots of surfers and swimmers with lifeguards on duty. Can also enjoy seeing the planes from Newquay airport. Delicious takeaway food from nearby shops, we had the Cornish pasty and sandwiches...More

This is our closest beach and I love it but the only downside is the car park costs in the summer. Often on busy days it’s £5 to park in the car park. A cheap day out if you’re on holiday or spending the whole...More

Love this beach Soft sand River running through to the sea which is perfect for paddling in When tide is out, leaves large puddles in the sand like mini paddling pools. 3 year old loved it! Toilets over the road (20p), plus pub, cafe, shop....More

I love the surfing vibe of Mawgan Porth; surf shops, loads of restaurants, ice cream vendors, toilets (20p). Best of all is a small super-market with hot pasties and sausage rolls, and of course cold drinks. All the shops and restaurants are clustered around the...More

The beach is nice and sandy. Plenty of gift and surf shops and the pub and places to eat surrounding it. Only downside is having to pay 20p to use the loo's and there's only three loo's in the ladies toilets and very small. Also...More

What a wonderful evening we had at Catch last night. We live locally and had friends visiting from Cambridge. They are very “foodie” and both accomplished cooks also one has an intolerance to onion and garlic!! Yikes!! So I opted to not cook at home...More

Clean, sandy beach that allows dogs all year round! Visited on a sunny day in July and paid £3.00 for the day to park (a bargain in Cornwall!) which could have been reimbursed had we eaten in the nearby pub. Families spread out all over...More

Hi, there's a car park right opposite the beach - they do tend to put the prices up during holiday season mind you. The entrance is right next to Betty's newsagents.
