Located about 2 hrs from Chisinau and 1 hr from Odessa, it a beautiful cozy family owed private hotel that has its own winery.
The food is really tasty, a little pricey comparing to the capital, but good food cant be cheap, especially when all ingredients are from the garden or nearby farm. The hotel is very cosy, always very clean and I love the fact that it is very small, only 6 numbers, so if u need a very intimate get away this is it. The menu is very limited indeed, but again knowing that all positions are freshly cooked while you wait I think is more important than having a wide variety non-fresh food choices. They also have a pool which is huge comparing to the hotel capacity, especially that they allow access to it only to those living in the hotel, unlike to the restaurant where you can just stop by for a beautiful lunch, which is also amazing as during hot summers you are sure not to swim in a overly populated swimming-pool.
They have a plane landing line too so im assuming you can come with you own jet or maybe its just for the local plan that does little tours over the area, not sure, but it's really cool to see a little plane land and take off. The owners are a young couple who live there with their kids so everything is under control always and as many times as we have been we were greeted by them and more than once even served with a complimentary glass or two of whatever they were tasting at their table
I totally recommend this place, but must be booked very much in advanced, I already booked several weekends for the next summer and it is only december, and most weekends were already booked.

Et Cetera truly is a hidden gem, tucked away from the main road in the middle of Moldavian nowhere. The owners have built a picturesque winery, restaurant and mini-hotel with South of France vibes. Visit on a sunny morning and it will feel cosy and exquisite at the same time. The wines are very good; I especially recommend their Carmenere and the premium Cuvee Rouge. The food was, hands down, the best I've had in Moldavia, from the savoury pies to the fish soup and chocolate dessert. DO NOT MISS the rabbit, it melts in your mouth and pairs very well with the Cuvee Rouge. The staff are friendly and helpful; the head waiter in particular has a knack for storytelling and makes a killer smoked tomato jam :). All in all, this is the kind of place I would seriously consider travelling 200 miles to just for the dining experience!

A place to go on your way to/from Odesa, but also a place to visit on its own. Close to Purcari, but its location has best value if your time is short. For 50 moldavian lei/person you'll visit their winery. Great explications and interesting wines to taste. You may even be accompanied by the owner, who is also the winemaster!

We had booked the hotel room and dinner in advance; despite this planning, we had to wait to be seated for some time for our meal; further, they were out of many items of the already very limited menu. Service was terrible, down to dirty silverware. When inquiring about the differences between wines - the female server indignantly responded, "The Price"--showing an absence of knowledge about the vineyard. Our hotel room was in need of repair, having a moisture problem. At breakfast, within the stated timeframe, we asked for eggs and were told, "No, no, no." When we raised all of our concerns at checkout, instead of apologizing, the staff escalated the situation and in the end we were told "Just pay and leave!" by the same ignorant woman from breakfast and dinner the night prior. Worst of all, we informed the owner who at that point had the opportunity to make things right; unfortunately, he had the same miserable attitude as the ignorant staff he hired. Unbelievable.

If you don’t have a reservation, don’t even try to go there. They will smile at you and say “sorry, but we can’t help you”.
If you would’ve answered the phone when I called, you could’ve probably.
The place had a few people I could count with my hand’s fingers around 3PM when we got there.
I asked if we could at least see around the winery, but you probably know the answer. Was a smiling NO again.
Oh well, from what I saw, we didn’t miss much. I guess she knew if we saw the place, would’ve been a 100% no come back from us.
It is anyways!!

Have been trying to visit et cetera for a couple of times, the first attempts failed because I was calling one or two days in advance and the typical answer was: "sorry, we're full", thus, decided to plan it in advance this time and get two hotel rooms to fully enjoy the wine tasting and relax for the weekend. Called the representative and asked for the next available spot - all was good - booked for November 3rd, which was about 3-4 weeks away. I have asked the lady if there are any reservation fees and if I should call to confirm couple of days in advance - was told that we should just be there on the agreed date at the winery and pay at the counter.
If you're from Moldova, you'd probably know how serious some organization are and given that the location is about 120km from Chisinau, I decided to give them a call two days prior the booking to confirm! Guess what? - "Surprisingly" the answer was that there is no reservation on my name, and the two rooms I booked are on a different name. I have explained all the situation and that I planned this thoroughly in advance given that it's a family event and I now have to find a way out of this situation, and the answer was: "sorry, we can't do anything, it's the human factor, what do you expect us to do? I already said I'm sorry, we can propose you to visit without the housing..." of course, the further negotiations didn't work out.
Too bad, it's your loss et cetera ;)

1. Kitchen is good but portions are extremely small for the prices you see in the menu
2. Nature around is beautiful, indeed. You can eat raspberries directly from the bushes or just lie on the grass. If you stay out until the dark, moskitos will literally bite you. But I guess that’s part of the concept :)
3. Rooms - no possibility to open any window, there’s no balcony either. There’s no way you can dry even a swimming suit. Not to mention the bad smell in the room if you choose to switch off air conditioning, for example. No trash bin in the room! I found a small one in the bathroom but I had to open it with my hands!!! Showering after the swimming pool was a disaster as well- water pressure was so poor that I could hardly wash off the shampoo...
4. Swimming pool- it is big, clean, no umbrellas or trees around... I enjoyed it anyways until I had to follow my two year old son who decided to just sit behind some glamorous ladies that needed to take pictures near the swimming pool. They were nervously waiting for him to leave the area and were hoping I could just ‘remove’ him from that place. I gently asked my son to leave but he was very determined to stay, when one of the ladies just cursed... and I was shocked . I tried to tell her that me, her and my son have equal rights to stay wherever the hell we like around this swimming pool but she said the kid was uneducated)) haha
All this happening in front of the owner’s wife, who had no minimal reaction to this shameful situation.
Well , guys, I know you quote yourself as the best in Moldova, especially in times when citizens cannot go abroad and have a decent vacation. But keep in mind - you have no culture, or class, or anything else you pretend to be.

Last year I had the opportunity to visit this family owned winery. Alexandru Luchianov explained with passion, kindness, expertise the journey to make this unique products. I felt home from the first moment I entered in the winery, still remember that unforgettable feeling. If you are planning a trip to Moldova, is one of the must. In an unique atmosphere, surrounded by amazing landscape you will have the opportunity to taste the real and authentic moldavian hospitality with great wines and tasty homemade food.

We arrived to visit this winery and were welcomed by one of the owners, who showed us round and stayed with us throughout our visit. We have been to a lot of wineries around the world, but this is definitely one of the best. The first thing that struck me when we arrived was that the place was very tidy and well cared for - an indication of the quality of the wine.
We started with a look at the vines growing as far as the eye could see. We were then showed round the winery with frequent stops to sample some wine straight from the storage vessels. I have only once before been to a winery where samples were offered straight from the storage facility.
The visit finished with an excellent meal, with plenty of Etcetera wine accompanying it.
This is an outstanding winery in a country noted for its excellent wine.

We visited this family run and modern winery and had lunch there.
The owner, who speaks excellent English, personally took us on a wine tasting tour of the facility. We saw gallons of wine maturing in stainless steel takes, tasted some of them and watched the wine being bottled.
We then sat down for lunch in the nicely decorated dining area and were served more wine.
If in Moldova, this is an attraction not to be missed.
