What's neat about this church is it's location, sandwiched between an old Armenian house and the edge of a steep gorge. Spitakavor is no where near as old as some of the other churches in Ashtarak, having been built only in the 13th century. That makes it nearly 1000 years newer than Tsiranavor Church which is just a hundred meters away. Spitakavor was ruined in the 1679 earthquake and never rebuilt. If you're in Ashtarak I do recommend you visit both Tsiranavor and Spitakavor.

i like this place it's awesome. when you are in hurry and want to eat something healthy you to visit Zhangyalov Hats Cafe. ZHANGYAL is a mixture of 20 and more greens which grow in mountains of Artsakh. HATS means bread. In fact it is mixture of greens wrapped in lavash. It is really very tasty and healthy food.
Any tourist has to taste this unique food from Artsakh. And it is better to do in Zhangyalov Hats Cafe in Yerevan!
