Our group was shown glass blowing by Fabrizio Urbani and Nicola Cena. They were both very knowledgable and explained the techniques of glass art. Both also made funny jokes and allowed us to do glass blowing on a blow pipe. Very enjoyable experience.

Really liked the demonstration of the glass artist. We then went to the showroom to explore some amazing art with a very knowledgeable manager. After some excellent discussion and comparison of art styles we were happy to make a purchase. Looking forward to having it in our home! Thanks Fabrizio!!

We wanted to see the glass work demonstration, an eventhough we came late, they organized another one for us. People were very friendly and the demonstration itself was really interesting.

We wanted to see a glass-work demonstration during our recent visit to Murano, and stumbled across Ellegi. For only €2 each we were able to visit the glass workshop and watch a demonstration of glassblowing and the making of a glass horse figurine. The master was clearly skilled in what he was doing, and there was another member of staff on hand to provide commentary in Italian and English. It was fascinating to see first hand how much of the Murano glass objects are made and would strongly recommend visiting.

On our visit to Murano island in May 2017, we visit Ellegi Glass shop, check out several beautiful chandeliers and found that this shop's price are more reasonable compare to other shop with friendlier services, we decided to buy a chandelier. The sale lady said it would take a month for the chandelier to be made and send from Italy to USA. We are a little worry about buying expensive souvenir across the continent, but the shop owner/artist always promptly response to our email inquiries about the chandelier. Six weeks later the chandelier arrive, well vacuumed packed with extra decorate pieces. The chandelier is beautiful and serve not only as great source of light, decorate piece but also a great memory about our trip to Italy

We were looking for a glass blowing factory with a demonstration. We were wandering along the fondamenta when we saw a sign for a "fornace".

I went inside the glass shop and the people inside did not look like the evil hard sell type you see elsewhere.

The very nice older gentleman said it was 2 euros per person. We went back to the fornace and the fellow make both a little vase and a prancing horse. Fascinating.

I asked afterwards if we could buy either. They said no. Made of a type of glass that will fail apart into a "thousand pieces" after a day. Just a demo.

Prices in the shop were very reasonable. I bought a prancing horse like the one the fellow made for only 10 euros.

I highly recommend.

We paid 20 euros for 4 people for a demonstration that took under 5 minutes, basically you are paying 5 euro a person to go into their shop. Very disappointing

We came here as part of a tour of about 25 people and got to watch the glassblowers at work, doing what they did best! It was amazing to watch a man take a molten piece of glass and create a horse out of it in less than 2 minutes. The adjacent shop is pretty expensive, but it's such beautiful stuff and worth it! Take your time here...there's a lot to see!

10 minute demonstration for 2 Euros each. Interesting to see how the glass items are made in the factory workshop. You can then purchase some glass work from the shop.

We were looking for a place to see a demonstration that wasn't too expensive. We asked for a recomendation on a nearby shop and they told us to go there. We payed 2€ per adult and 1€ for our younger ones, which wasn't expensive at all. They showed 2 techniques and explained everything in italian, english, spanish and french. The pieces at the shop weren't as expensive as the ones we had seen throghout Murano and we even ended up buying a few.
