- Leigh OFlitwick, United Kingdom6 contributionsShame about the weather. The attractions looked great and the ones we were able to use were excellent. However there was a light to moderate rain falling and they closed all the attractions. No refund is available as a result of closurea due to ‘extreme’ weather.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 2, 2024
- Craig S93 contributionsGreat fun and not too busyThis worked out really well for us for 2 reasons. The weather was great for April, cloudy then sunny but not too warm and no wind and My wife did lots of research into rides, ticketing and priority tickets. Face recognition technology made it quick and easy to get onto rides. A Small theme park versus US standards but queues were short for us and there is the novelty of it being in Japan. Big roller coasters and big rides were amazing.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 6, 2024
- Geoff WSydney, Australia27 contributionsBuy the day ticketWent here with family, theres some really good rides but it should be called "Fuji Queue Highland". Make your life easy and get the day ticket which includes all the extra parks like Thomas Land otherwise you have to deal with hard to use ticket machines for each ride. Use the bus and the train to get back into the town from here, you need to speak Japanese to order a taxiVisited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 30, 2024
- helliedoc297 contributionsFuji funI have visited many amusement parks and this is the most civilised. We were lucky to be staying in the Highland resort next door so got discounted day passes and the magical 30 mins to ride the biggest coasters before a queue formed.Staff were lovely and the safety checks thorough( necessary when you have the tallest coaster at 72 metres and another with the steepest descent at 121 degrees). The young Japanese crowd visiting were well mannered and we saw no running or queue hopping but they really excelled at screaming! With the day pass and the flawless face recognition you can come and go which was useful when a storm arrived in the afternoon.Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 12, 2024
- Stephen SPerth, Australia34 contributionsLoooong Wait Times & Very $$$I saw some reviews that this place should be renamed Fuji QUEUE because of the long wait times for rides but we hoped our visit would be less crowded... Although it looked like there weren't that many people visiting, the ride lines were between 40 minutes and up to 2 hours long! Which is just outrageous! We ended up buying the express passes but these are EXTREMELY over priced at 30 dollars (AUD) each!!! Food and drinks are also very expensive. Not as well kept as Disney but the rides (when you eventually get on them) are awesome!Visited October 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten October 16, 2024
- ChrisManila, Philippines75 contributionsBest experience ever!!I'm not sure why Fuji-Q is getting so many one-star ratings because my experience was so good!! I booked my ticket through klook as I was on the car ride to Fuji-Q because I wanted to make sure that the weather will be good and that the thrill rides are open. The booking process was so easy and straightforward--pay through the app and get the QR code instantly. From there you just present the QR code to the person right before security where they will give you a physical ticket which you use to pass through the facial recognition registration gate. From there, you'll just use the facial recognition to enter the rides. Super simple. Went there on a Sunday in winter, and to our surprise, there were very short queues. We didn't get any priority passes anymore since the wait times for the thrill rides were 20-40 mins. The only downside about going in winter are: 1. Rides suddenly close due to strong winds and low temperatures. We were still able to ride Fujiyama then noticed they stopped the ride due to winds an hour later and never reopened within the day. 2. COLD. It was like being blasted with freezing winds on your face, and my feet were numb after Eejenaika since shoes are taken off. But hey I rode them multiple times so I'm not complaining. There were absolutely no queues for food which was a relief after experiencing a hell of a queue just for a box of pizza at USJ. We ate the pork cutlet and yakisoba and it was so good. We went inside Starbucks to warm ourselves after rides and even that didn't have any queues. Overall, i had such a great, great time and 10/10 I will go back again in the winter time.Visited December 2024Traveled with familyWritten December 22, 2024

I was planning to go there during the summer vacation, and I was lucky that the new thrill ride Zoccon opened in July. First, I installed the Q-chan app and purchased a face recognition free pass in advance, and purchased a time-designated Zoccon fast pass for 3,000 yen. By the way, the ticket for choosing two thrill rides in the 1,500 yen range with fast pass for Zoccon and priority boarding was sold out, so I recommend purchasing early. Zoccon was so much fun that I wanted to ride it over and over again. There were no shortage of places to eat and rest. It was a wonderful amusement park that parents and children could enjoy together. If you are short on time, I recommend installing the official Q-chan app, checking the waiting time for rides while looking at the map, and moving in the shortest distance.
As a souvenir to give away, I also bought some individually wrapped langue de chats with Fuji-Q Highland printed on them and a branded Q mark, which were cute.

On weekdays, the rides are empty and most of the main screaming rides are suspended due to cost considerations!
On weekends, it's packed and waiting 2-3 hours is normal! You can't ride at all!
Don't make the mistake of buying a free pass!
When I went, only the "Eejanaika" ride was running lol.
You can't buy a free pass and then have that happen lol.
It's a total failure as a service!
In the first place, you shouldn't let customers ride something that has mechanical problems so often lol.
Don't make something so dangerous that you can't ride it depending on the weather lol.
But if there's a type of person I can recommend, and if you're the type of person who forgets all the bad things after riding a screaming ride once, then I recommend it!

A family of Thrill Riders here. We loved 6 Flags and didn't expect our visit here to be way better. Although, some of the thrill rides we wanted to try was close. The two best ones - The Eejanaika and Takabisha rides did not disappoint. Both rides are over 2 hours long wait but Guinness World record holder and sooo worth the wait. Had we had more time, we will definitely go again. The entire park was not as busy when we went on a Sunday (except on thrill rides where queue was longer). If you are in a hurry or don't want to spend all day here, you can choose to to enter the park for less or free then buy tickets per ride. That's what we did since we didn't realize how long the wait on lines were. The park is easy to find, train stops at the entrance and well organized. I underestimated this park, thinking it's a small carnival type. It's actually a real deal theme park and will need a full day to enjoy. Will definitely be back here with my teen someday again.

AWFUL AWFUL Theme Park!!!
1) Most rides were closed- only a handful open, we were bored after 2 hours and had another 6 hours till our return bus was due
2) Painfully slow operations!! Terribly inefficient running of rides, meaning even though the queue was quiet, it took 30 minutes to get 20 people through the ride queues.
3) Run down Park, with rusty badly kept rides, would certainly worry about the safety of some of them
4) Of the handful of rides that were open, most closed rediculously early (4pm) so the staff could get out at 5pm when the park closed.
5) They've done everything to block your view of Mount Fuji...it's either the hotel, the rollercoasters or an ugly looking run down restaurant!
I just don't recommend the effort and time it takes to get to this park. They shouldn't charge full price when most rides were not open. It's so run down that it gives the impression that the park is about to go out of Business and close.
I just regret wasting a day of our Japan trip at this terrible park.
Do yourself a favour and give this park a miss. Japan has many good theme parks, but unfortunately Fuji-Q Highland is not one of them.
Just barely in mind Disney is just £10 more to get in and is a million times better experience.

The thrill rides look amazing but you have to plan your day right. We were planning on riding the thrill rides with the afternoon pass. Fujiyama and Do-Dodonbori were closed, but we knew that because the website said it. We got there at 215pm and figured we have about 4 hours to ride everything else because they said the park closes at 6. We did Panic Clock within 30 min - good ride. Then we were in line for Eejanaika for maybe 1.75 hours, including the ride - awesome ride. THEN, at about 445, they start closing the lines to all the big rides! Why are we here at 500pm, not allowed to get in line? It's not even that crowded. The afternoon pass was not worth it unless you come exactly when the entry time starts and even then, you better run from ride to ride. Otherwise, just buy individual ride tickets.

Awful. The toilets at entry were filthy at the beginning of the day, which wasn’t a good start.
We were loving the rides (these are good) when everything closed for a thunderstorm, which I completely understand.
However, all catering facilities also closed, both inside and out, which made no sense at all. There wasn’t a power cut as lights were working, just the ordering food machines had been turned off.
We’ve been to theme parks all over the world and never experienced this. Really regret visiting. Why build a theme park in the mountains where weather changes from one moment to the next without providing adequate facilities? Go elsewhere and save your money.

Very easy to get to with a train station at the entrance. We got the free admission tickets (which was good), but I guess lucky we did as probably more than half of the rides weren't operational. As an English speaker it was difficult as no signs are in English. The prices of food were quite cheap compared to theme parks that I know.

This park sells admission tickets even for days when the park is closed and they use their ‘no refund’ policy to get away with it and take people’s money. You can’t cancel nor reschedule to a different day. Such a scam and a shame to Japanese people.

So, do not buy a day pass if there is even a chance of rain. I booked two nights at the Highland Hotel with the aim of having a full day here in between. Booked my day pass and with the advent of rain, every single coaster is closed with no signs of reopening. So that's £40 to go on the Evangelion flight, Naruto 3D blaster, Ferris Wheel and the Haunted Mansion (should I want to go around that solo).
There's no refunds (I've tried) and this has totally ruined three days of my holiday. I know the park can't control the weather but there should be some contingency such as not selling full passes if they know rides will be closed all day. Sat in the Stabucks there writing this now. I would recommend the chocolate doughnet, that's what got this review two stars.
The new ride for 2023 is some sort of Tron Light Cycle coaster.

Not worth it. Reputation for long queues is real. We attended on Tuesday the 24th of November. it was a fresh overcast day. 100 minute wait times were common on the big 4 rides. Only two major rides operated at a time growing queues. We are hard core Theme Parkers having travelled the world through Europe, Asian and the US, but it was horribly slow given small numbers. No English maps nor English explanations on rides. They closed a ride when we were 10 metres from the gate and the operator “Harada”crossed his arms and turned his back on me when I asked if one more could join the queue. 5 minutes later I heard in Japanese the ride had closed. That fired me up and motives me to post a poor review. The place is run down, unkept and disjointed in layout. Avoid.

Does Fuji-Q Highland have wider seats for larger passengers? If not, how large are the seats for the four main rollercoasters?
Written June 30, 2020
I don't think they do. At the entrance of Fujiyama it said you can't ride if you don't fit in the seat (or they can't close the bar completely).

Hi,
Anyone knows if Q pack tickets has any specified date for its use, eg. if it has to be or valid on the day of the bus departure or we are able to specify the date that we will use them other than the departure date when we collect both our bus and Fuji q tickets at shinjuku station.

Which ticket (child or infant) do I get for a child who is 6 year old (only turning 7 in April 2020)?

Of course,
Hidden Tips: When you already inside, there is a few attractions who have a ling line, you can download the disneyland app to save line seat (looks like fastrack line) so no need have long queuing (should register first with Japanese name, translete by google)

We went in off season, bought tix on the day and couldn’t get priority passes. The waits were 90 minutes, even for single riders. The people with priority passes only had to wait about 20 minutes..
