A nice sunny day for our late summer visit for the first time. A good find to start our holidays with. Nice grounds and easy walking with some good historical elements within the grounds. Would glady return on a future holiday.

This beautiful garden in the Shropshire Countryside is a hidden gem. Magnificent borders, trees and shrubs surrounding a series of lakes are all linked by pretty bridges and waterfalls. There are wild natural woodland, formal rose gardens all set around a stately house (not open)....More

A lovely well maintained garden with many tranquil areas. The tea room is not to be missed as it is extremely quirky inside with a definite hunting theme!! Wouldn't have discovered it until we joined the HHA. The Bear Inn in the village is well...More

Moved to Shropshire two months ago and found these wonderful gardens last weekend. We did an "extensive" walk - probably only a mile - that went past a several lakes, becoming wilder as we went away from the house. Extensive herbaceous borders, shrubs and trees...More
