About
In 1702, on the initiative of Colonels Gerasim and Andrii Kondratiev, the first stone church was built in Sumy - Voskresenska. In 1791 it burned down completely and was rebuilt only at the beginning of the XIX century. Oldest church in Sumy
Sep 2015 • Family
This is the oldest church in the city. There is some legend like you can meet a ghost of a woman there. This woman is a daughter of the city founder (creator) which was walled up there by his father because she was a robber.
