We went in the museum thinking it may be an hour at the most. It was so interesting and interactive for my 7 year old that we gave the beach a miss even though it was 28c and sunny. It took up 3 hours of our time and could have stayed longer to really do it justice. A bit expensive at 22 euros( I think as my wife paid) but well worth it on reflection.

The Interesting exposure in the town List on the north end of Island Sylt. Many aquariums with seafoods.

It offers a lot of attractions, but they are directed to the citizens of Germany. Headphones can be connected to and listen to the teacher in English , but for others descriptions off boards and activities for children are only in German . In most buildings of this type in Europe are standard bilingual descriptions. It should improve this element to this center was more interesting to people from abroad.

We had a very nice and interesting guided tour to the Wattenmeer at low tide, where we learned about plants and animals present there. A very educating experience for everybody!
