This old Roman church is built in a place where burials took place already in pre-historic times. The church itself has a nice wooden interior and a beautiful organ. The altar too is made of wood and beautifully handcrafted. The graveyard surrounding the church has a park-like setting with lots of trees, lawns and other vegetation. Not the typical gravel-concrete desert found elsewhere. Definitively a place to visit if you're in Keitum anyway.

The grounds are open and a lovely stroll through the landscaped cemetery grounds. It is a nice excursion but requires a car to get there.

The priest is young, nice and his speaches all have a surprizing pointe .We come here every year and listen to the very good Organist. The church is a little bit outside of Keitum,,the most beautiful village of Sylt.Everything fits together,no broke of style. Last year we heard a concert of seamen and you also can hear the sea fromm here.

This is a lovely old church on the outskirts of Keitum. It's a peaceful place and it's lovely to wander through the well-kept graveyard. Worth a visit if you're in Keitum.
