This place is at its best during the evening when it is lit up. It is really pretty.
There are plenty of shops and restaurants here including Wal Mart. There are a few hotels inside this ancient town as well.

It was a great enjoyment taking a stroll along the panoramic old town street of Du Jiang Yan. One can sip tea by the river and also taste the varieties of local delicacies. Night scenery was fantastic.
Lot of walking and very few facilities for good western food except KFC
Pack your own lunch and stolons if your not game to eat the local food
