Beautiful, quiet beach

Relatively small beach, but surprisingly quiet with a great outlook and sheltered swimming. You can rent snorkelling gear on the beach itself.

Shame you cant really go at night but so lovely early morning and all day! Do be careful of apparent shark attacks near the area

すごくきれい。 really nice spot. The walk from the car park may be a problem for some people as it is quite far and you have to climb a large sand dune. Deck chair and umbrella rental was there.

The place is just marvelous. If you could walk into the forest for about 10 minutes and what lies ahead of you will just draw you back! Must visit place during sunset!

I went there to watch the sunset, and it was the perfect place. Wonderfully secluded, you walk on this narrow, sandy pathway through the trees and bushes to get there. The beach itself is small, hemmed in by rocks and trees. To the left is the rock archway. The sunset was perfectly framed by this archway. It was beautiful. One... More

This beach is really small, and people seem to come here to just take pictures, but the water is warm and blue and there are fish that come up and swim with you. Such a nice place to spend the early morning or a sunset.

Awesome beach. We cycled here and spent the whole day at the beach. Amazing spot for snorkeling and relaxing. Lots of tourist traffic coming through just to take photos and leave. Spent hours in the water. Some fish but it's not the place to snorkel on Miyakojima- there's only snorkeling spots for that.

this is a beautiful beach with the famous rock formation, white sand and turquoise water, accessible by car or a bike

We went to 3 beaches, and Sunayama was by far our favorite. We stayed there from 13:00 until sunset. We took a taxi, and we walked up a hill and then down a big hill to the beach. Lots of people go to the beach to take pictures and leave, but we enjoyed spending hours there soaking in the sun... More

We visited this beach in February and had it all to ourselves. There is a parking lot with bathrooms and to reach the beach, you must walk down a steep sand slope. At the bottom is a stunning beach with a natural rock arch. Since it was off-season, there were no equipment rental vendors around but there is a machine... More
