We did a tour to Mongolia a few years ago in early June 2019 with my girlfriend Jane. We were very happy that we made a deal with Way to Mongolia team. They were very responsive to all our needs. Way to Mongolia team is very responsive to e-mails as we have been receiving all responses to our emails in just about 10 minutes.

We did choose the Gobi desert as it was the most famous destination in Mongolia. Our guide Erdene has very deep local historical knowledge and he speaks very good English. Special thanks to Way to Mongolia team for making our tour so easy!

Wish you all the best and See You Again in the feature!

We did a horse trekking tour in western Mongolia with local tour guide Baldyrgan who did help us a lot to organize this tour for us.

We did real horse riding compare to horse ridings back in our hometown. Mongolian Horses can go anywhere, they are tough and strong. We did go up heals and down, were crossing huge rivers, and also did a little bit of racing. That was super fun. Special thanks to the team of "Way to Mongolia" as they were super flexible and well organized.

Highly recommended if you want to stretch your boundaries and remind yourself about the excitement of living, Mongolia would be the best choice with "Way to Mongolia" team!

Sincerely yours
Anthony

I did a tour to Dornogovi province in the south of Mongolia with my besties. We were delighted about our guide Erdene who were always caring us a lot. Also thanks for telling us a history about the places that we travelled. We got knowledge about Mongolian tradition, history and culture. I highly recommend you guys come to Mongolia if you're looking for something special and unique. Mongolian lifestyle definitely different from any other countries. So it is clear that many researchers come to Mongolia to discover new findings. Thanks for skilled and experienced team Tour to Mongolia.

Way to Mongolia

I usually don’t post reviews but I wanted to let people know about “Way to Mongolia” and its owner and guide Baldo.
I contacted Baldo just a few days before arriving in Mongolia. He was very helpful and designed the perfect trekking itinerary in Western Mongolia. Given the logistics of arranging camels, horses and a cook he did well to get them all in place for when I arrived.
Baldo is a local of Ulgii and has great experience of the area and speaks very good English so is always able to speak about the nature and culture that makes the Altai Mountains and it’s nomads so wonderful.
I had a genuinely authentic experience meeting a Tuvan nomad family who were very welcoming. The scenery was truly spectacular and the horse riding, which I had no intention to do, ended up the main way of getting to the next mountain campsite and was actually one of the highlights.
I cannot recommend Baldo any more highly. He will always go the extra mile to make things run smoothly and is a great guide. You can’t go wrong if you choose “Way to Mongolia”.
Ps. He was heading back to UB after the tour so he kindly offered me a lift with his family for the 1700km car journey and even took me to the airport to collect my luggage that had been delayed ( I did the tour with my carry on luggage! and some borrowed bits from Baldo)

We had a fantastic time with Baldu and his team in Western Mongolia. Great conversations and food. Aschim did a hell of a job driving, Osi prepared delicious food. The openness of the coutry and the people were just amazing. the horse riding with the Alta mountain in the background were extraoridinarily and the stay with a Kazakh family was a really authentic experience. Highly recommendable.

Had the chance to visit Mongolia during the cold winter months during lunar New Year Festival. My guide/driver, Baldo planned the tour with great attention to accommodate all my desires and the trip was absolutely amazing. Highlight of the trip was the sunrise morning hike at -25C and Nomad family visit. Would do it again in summer.

I had the chance to visit UB and around UB with Baldyrgan for only 2 days but I couldn’t have ask for a better guide during that time. He showed me the Mongol and Kazakh culture, food, people, music, etc…

Since it was only the two of us, we had plenty of time to talk about everything and no subject was off the table. He was kind, patient, fun and open minded! We kept talking even when he wasn’t my guide anymore and he helped me when I needed it.

If you want a tour guide, a friend, someone that will show you the mongol’s way , go with him!

We started off with a pickup from the airport where he was waiting for my group. We then started our journey with a nice coffee from Tom n Tom, I suggest the cinnamon iced coffee 🤌 Baldyrgan aka Baldy was open and honest about the trip and we knew what to expect. The traffic in Ulaanbaatar was no joke. Every day he was there waiting for us to meet him and was able to accommodate our needs to stop as often as we wanted to get photos and try a variety of foods and drinks along the trip. He has convinced me to go see western Mongolia during the summer season when it’s not as dry.

I had the most enjoyable time. As you might imagine, traveling alone can be very challenging. However, the expertise and kindness of Way to Mongolia made everything so joyful. Also, the schedule was very well designed. I left Mongolia with the impression that I visited all the places I always dreamed about. The value for money is also incredibly convenient. Very happy and satisfied with everything. Just thinking about return and go to western Mongolia! I feel só luck to have chosen Way to Mongolia as my tour provider.
