If you enjoy seeing the city from the top of a mountain, that's ok. But there are other places to appreciate the whole city with much more interesting things to do. There is an entrance fee of R$ 15,00 from 4 pm to 7 pm. From 7pm forwards the fee increases to R$ 30,00. Up there is the Christ, (maybe... More

Nice to have a great sunset scene from up the mountain, not much to do there. Nice view of the city too

The view of the city was worth the 15 $BRL fee. We went during the day so it was quiet and we missed the light show. The statue itself pales in comparison to Christ the Redeamer in Rio but it was worth the time to visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the Nativity on the walk up

The Shuttle is free of charge, but he drives only once an hour. The entry is not so cheep, but the view at night is wonderful!!!! We didn't eat something there, because the prices are very high. (70Rs = 20€ for a pizza is not acceptable)

Haven't been to Rio so I can't compare this statue with the original one. Nevertheless it is pretty much obvious that this one is nothing but poor, kitschy copy. Cristo Rei in Lisbon is much more impressive. The only thing I liked about it (except for nice views) is Vangelis' music (Conquest of Paradise theme) that was more then appropriate... More

A special and safe option in Balneário Camboriú to be visited in nighttime with family. It is possible to access the place with a bus (free of charge) that stops in certain points of the city, such as Brazil Avenue, for example. However, you have to pay to get inside Christ Light (less than US$15). In there, one can take... More

Really is not worth visiting. A small cheap copy of the big Rio de Janeiro one. Really ugly. There was a show in the restaurant that produced enough noise so if anyone cares to pray or something forget it.

This statue and memorial of Christ is located above the city. It is designed like Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. The lighting for statue changes colors-one minute is it white color and the next moment, is red. The music that is played while watching the Christ is dramatic. There is also an area next to the statue that... More

Final ride to the top in the complementary Scooby Doo camper van was fun but not really needed, the statue itself interesting but not a patch on the redeemer in Rio, the views, again interesting but its the back of the city you see. I think its a must see to make your own mind up, ive seen it and... More

You don´t know whether to burst out laughing or start running to flee human imbecility when you see this. Perfectly matches the numerous statues of liberty you find all around Santa Catarina. This region deserves a kitsch award!
