We were in a motorcycle tour around Bento Gonçalves and, of course, we had to go to Vale dos Vinhedos! There are many wineries to visit over there besides other different places like Spa do Vinho for instance. Very very nice!

There are many wineries by the road. Some of them you don't need previous reservation. Some of them also have restaurants, so one can spend the day out.

For wine lovers a must-see program in Brazil. Of course there is a strong influence of Italian culture but much has developed in recent decades and tourism here is serious business handled by the association of producers and the tourism authority. In addition to the large domestic manufacturers also have very cool boutiques. The landscape speaks for itself. We came exactly at the beginning of spring that starts today 22/9/2016. Blue sky, 8 degrees centigrade in the morning 22 degrees in the afternoon. Typical spring day .Nothing that Italian cuisine and a good wine can not solve. Program for a whole day. At least. Take care be for the driver and if you drink do not drive kakakakaka. We stayed 5 days in the region. Novconhecer strains wine grapes are being introduced, sons of former settlers who met when children are now trained winemakers and some estadando abroad to bring more knowledge. Get acquainted with the state of the art winery in our country!

I've only visited Rio Grande do Sul and Vale dos Vinhedos one time, but it is already one of my absolute favorite places in Brazil! It feels a great deal like northern Italy. As a wine region, it's not quite as beautiful as Piemonte, Italy and is not nearly as famous as Burgundy or Champagne or even Napa or Sonoma. But Vale dos Vinhendos has many of the traits of each of those wonderful wine regions. Brazilian wine is still developing and not quite ready for the grand global wine stage, but I have hope and optimism that enough Brazilian wine makers are on the right path and have the right attitude to get this beautiful wine region to the point where it will compete not just with Chile and Argentina, but with the likes of France, Italy, Germany, and the US. When you go to Brazil, be sure to take the time to visit Vale dos Vinhedos! It'll be worth the trip.

This is a really beautiful tour, good to know the stories about the immigrants that have built this wine valley, to eat good food, to learn about local culture, to see old and beautiful constructions, to drink good wines....!
There are many options so I recommend to pre- check the ones that are most interesting for you and plan ahead.

I would never imagine Such a beautiful place in Brazil. It's like going back on time. Explorer the back roads and make sure to visit Santa Tereza as Well Monte Belo Do Sul, two little towns on top of hills where the view is breath taken. It's NOT Napa Valle, its better!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!

This is an awesome place to visit in South of Brazil (Serra Gauçha). You will see many vineyards, from a small one ruled by some family members to a huge one which exports a lot and got some international awards. Good restaurants, coffee & chocolate shops are also there. It is a round of 22km to cover entire Valley with very nice vies during most part of the year. My polish girlfreind said this place is the Brazilian Tuscany :)

Obrigada!
ValedosVinhedos
Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil1 contribution

ValedosVinhedos
Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil1 contribution
