About
A pioneer in the introduction of Wine tourism to Vale dos Vinhedos, Casa Valduga started the Wine tourism complex in 1992, enabling tourists to explore the world of wine and all the customs associated with the culture of the first Italian immigrants to the region. In addition to the rich natural wonders and a dimly-lit visit to the underground wine cellars, a fascinating dining experience awaits visitors at the Maria Valduga restaurant, which features typical dished blended with the most emblematic wines of Brazil. In an inspiring atmosphere, Casa Valduga welcomes its visitors with an amazing landscape, framed by the centuries old vineyards of one of the most award-winning wineries of Brazil.

We scheduled a winery tour with a tour guide who speakers English. Alexandre Chaves was excellent! His knowledge and English were both outstanding! He never rushed us, but made us feel like very special guests during the entire tour. Thus winery has been handed down since 1875 involving 5 generations!
We especially enjoyed a couple of their sparkling wines and their Cabernet Franc.

It was a fantastic experience. The wine are really good, the the sparkling ones are outstanding!

The tour guide, a guy with a big beard, was very teachful! It's been a year since our trip and we still remember tips from him.

We tried the 130 brut and we had to bring a bottle home, still the best champagne I've ever had. Looking forward to come back and staying in the winery this time.

Today we stopped just for the store and look around. It is even beautiful than was years before. We went to tasting a few grapes to choose which buy. The sales guy was extremely kind and explained very well the difference between the grapes. Totally recommend. I would highly recommend the visitation, I did a few times in the past and it is really nice and beautiful

We were told that the major wineries would not treat you as well as the small wineries but that was definitely not the case. We were very well served and the person who served us was amazing. He knew so much about every aspect of the business and he was just so nice to us. We felt very comfortable.

The selection is incredible. It’s a good place to experiment new flavours of the brand.

Went for a traditional tour. Brenda, the guide, was very knowledgeable and forthcoming. Objective and always open to answer any question. But the wine tasting was disappointing. Only their bottom wines were served. I can compare them to the famous sangue de bois

Whilst in the area visiting friends we visited Casa Valduga and my friend arranged for a guided tour by an English speaking guide. Alexandre was very nice and had so much knowledge. We had a great visit and hope to contact the owners granddaughter in the Uk to find out where and who stocks it in the UK.

It is a must see vineyard in Bento Gonclaves.
I would visit again it was that good.
Alexandra was a great help advising us on the wines we should taste.
We purchase wine before we left, the whole trip was great, I would say the gardens here are quite small which shortens the visit.

Casa Valduga is one of the most traditional wineries from "Vale dos Vinhedos" in Bento Gonçalves, Brazil, and it’s worth the visit! Besides its beautiful landscape and solid infrastructure, Casa Valduga offers a guided visit which shows the Winery history its wine and sparkling wine manufacturing processes. The visit costs about R$ 40.00 reais and includes a wine glass, which you use to taste different wine types along the tour.
The guides have a huge knowledge about the winery and the products manufactured there, which you can buy at the amazing Winery Shop located in the end of the visit.
Last but not least, Casa Valduga has a restaurant and a hotel located inside the winery complex, offering a complete experience for the visitors.

Had an excellent experience here with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. But with all the wines, please don't miss the opportunity to taste the Brandy. Not allowed to taste the 25 year, but did get to sample the 15 year. Don't remember what it cost, but it is worth every penny! If you like Brandy, this is something very special--melts in your mouth with great aroma!
