With its unique style and the painted tiles I can say it is a gem. To me it looks different from all the others mosques and palaces have seen in Iran so far. Don't miss it.

It's a 140 years old monument. In the past it was used as a residence and a place for holding special religious ceremonies. It has very beautiful architecture and nice tile works on the walls of the yards. Very nice traditional Iranian architecture in general.

Here the paintings are so nice and the space is so romantic. This space was used before for the ceremony of Emam Hossain.

After hearthquake I don't know which is the situation in the city. Anyway, I hardly recommend to visit Takieh. It is a must, with its wonderful tyle work.

Loved the tilework in this place, the combination of colours and designs was quite stunning. Several of the windows also have beautiful stained glass windows, which add to the dramatic effect. It was quite busy when we visited, yet it still felt like a calm...More

There are 3 parts in this Takieh for different ceremonies. Walls have beautiful paintings of religious events and the windows have colorful glasses. There is a garden in the back of the building with a nice atmosphere.

The first time we went there was past 4pm, so it was a futile attempt to really explore the place. We went back the following day, early in the morning, and we couldn't be more in a better time --- the morning sunlight illuminates the...More
