I've been there just a few minutes.
It's a big mosque that people of qom and other close and far cities go there every Thursday night.
Beautiful but not very old. If u wanna keep accommodating more than 3 days in qom, it's an option to see and be there for about one houre.

The mosque is built on an area of 40,000 square meters, of which 25,000 square meters belong to the mosque's own area, and the rest of the area is located on the northern side of the mosque, a large hall, the roof of which is located on three full stone columns Based. These columns are decorated with stone ornaments up to 1.5 meters high. This hall has three large four faces, arches, archs and framing on the doors of the tile, and among the decorations the name of the twelve Imams has been written in Islam. There are two arches on the two sides of the hall, which are arranged in two pairs of arches. The pilgrims must pass through these vaults in order to enter the hall, on both sides there is a flowering apron, and in the middle of the courtyard there is a water supply, where the water pours into a large pond. The water is used to irrigate the flowers and the green space of Jamkaran Mosque.

Jamkaran is located on the outskirts of Qom, and is the site of the Jamkaran Mosque, a popular pilgrimage site for Shi'ite Muslims. Local belief has it that Muhammad al-Mahdi -- the Twelfth Imam, that the Shia believe will lead the world to an era of universal peace — once appeared and offered prayers at Jamkaran. On Tuesday evenings large crowds of thousands gather at Jamkaran to pray and to drop a note to the Imam in a well at the site, asking for help with some problem.

More than a hundred thousand pilgrims sometimes pray outside the overflowing mosque for Maghrib prayer. Also on Tuesdays, the mosque kitchen provides a free evening meal to thousands of poor people.

The mosque is undergoing massive renovation and expansion. The courtyard is huge. Very spirituality uplifting place.

This place is huge! A magnificently stunning place that will stay with me forever. you get the best pictures after sun down as the whole place is lit up and that really emphasises the beauty of the artistic domes. On Tuesday evenings large crowds of thousands gather at Jamkaran to pray and to drop a note to the Imam in a well at the site, asking for help with some problem.
The Jamkaran Mosque is one of the primary significant mosques in the city of Qom, Iran.

I did not intend to mark this as a helpful comment. It was a genuine mistake to touch the "thumbs up". Bad Ux of this website. I can't change from Thumbs up to thumbs down.

A place of worship is not meant to make tourists comfortable. Tourists are welcome to visit and appreciate the architecture and learn the history of the place - not to come to become comfortable.

. You are not allowed to take your backpack and camera. It should be left in a storage room. Do not leave valuable belongings. The area of the mosque is so big that you can even take a mini-bus to ride around.
