Lake Linow is a volcanic lake with various natural chemicals washing into it, causing different colors and hues throughout the year. I was told it was relatively hot water, which might explain the fish breaking the surface periodically. Around the lake and well into the hills, vents are continuously discharging steam. With an almost surreal view and a mostly natural setting, there are no high-rises, starter mansions and bars ringing the lake. Beautiful and peaceful!

Unfortunately it was raining heavily when I visited so I did not manage to see the lake at its true beauty. However as the rain slowed, the lake was still pretty and we managed to take photos. There is a restaurant here and our entrance ticket included a free cup of tea.

The place is good for someone that need relaxation. Serene, calm, and somehow quite misty. Enjoy your fried banana there and sip your coffee too while enjoying the view.

It’s ok, nothing too special about it. Try to stay up wind. Little smelly off the lake. There are birds on it and fish swimming in it. So it can’t be that bad on the sulphur, and the charge but you get a free coffee or tea so it’s a break even
