Currently they are in the midst of building a complex which is still in the works for 15k (per car) entry allowing car park n toilet facilities.
However if ones intending to actually visit the falls for a dip, mind you there's currently no direct access from here and even this still requires a decent 20mins of up/down, only to view it from afar.shoes recommended.

In actuality, the only real way to access the waterfalls is apparently via another way which is arduous and requires 5 river crossings and needs at least reasonable fitness levels and proper equipment.
Pls confirm this with ur guide if intending to go to this waterfalls.
You will however be rewarded with an unbelievably beautiful and majestic waterfalls rivalling perhaps even " tumpak sewu".

Four waterfalls in a beautiful jungle backdrop. From the road Manado - Tomohon you can find the path to the waterfall at the entrance gate (look on the map for ‘Gerbang Masuk Tekaan Telu Waterfall’ also clue to get there). The path takes 20-30 minutes to walk, is fully tiled and quite style in a few places. If it is wet, it is probably almost impossible to do because of the slope and moss on the paths. Then you have a beautiful view from a plateau, from afar. So you don't get close to the falls. The path further down is overgrown and impassable from this side. You go back up the same path.

So first of all - the previous reviews were posted before there were some developments made in the infrastructure to get to the waterfall. Indonesian government built a path down so you can easily do this trek to the waterfall by yourself following a 850m road down. It's super slippery - honestly who agreed to put asphalt in the middle of the jungle? The path was just build and it already looks like it is more than 10 years. But anyways, you don't need a guide to get there. I wish I knew that, as I read the previous reviews and we asked our guide to go there with us. But - be mindful you get to the viewing platform for the waterfall, not down to the waterfall. There is possibility to go down, but it is very difficult and very dangerous and it requires abseiling. Not recommended especially that it's slippery and you can easily hurt yourself. They still run canyoning and abseiling to get to this waterfall the old way. Also, there is an entrance fee - don't get upset that the pricing between local and foreigners is different - of course it is and has to be to support locals! Generally, lovely small trek and the view of waterfalls (as there are few waterfalls there! 'telu' means three in bahasa). To get there: just rent the scoter from Tomohon or go for few cents by microlet (those are public mini buses that are passing constantly on the main road).

we hired a car and drive ourselves. GPS got us there but was a bit confused at the end. The road ends at a narrow strip and you can park your arr at the house there and the owner will guide you to the falls for Rp100,000. this seems steep and it is, but includes parking your car there. It's the only way they can earn a living so it's good to support the local community. the path is very narrow, goes up and down slopes, slippery at places. not hard but you need to be careful. no signposts anywhere so good to have the guide. it's also overgrown everywhere but once you get there it's a beautiful sight. it's about 1.5km hike but worth it.

We were told that get to the waterfall was something easy to do, we found out it was not. Dangerous is the least I can say about the way down to the waterfall, and not easy to find as there´s only a tiny sign on the road with the name of the waterfall. After walking down through a small coconut and clove plantations, you will get to a stream and a big ficus tree, behind it you will see the unexpected way down to the waterfall. Just too dangerous to do as inclination is over 70° and terrain is lose and muddy. Anyway, we went down as far as we could using rocks, branches, roots and anything else for preventing us from falling off the trail. Half way down there´s a simple rope for going down over some big rocks.
If you really want to try to make it all the way there you better go with a local guide or at least take some extra ropes with you.
As in the rest of Indonesia, there´s lots of trash everywhere which kills the beauty of the natural landscape.
