We had the most amazing trip with these guys! We got a flight to Medan from Penang and took two busses to get there (the mini bus we cannot recommend as we got ripped off and it was a tiny bus with too many people in). At this point we were picked up by our tour guide from the bus at the final stop and taken to our accommodation (Sumatra cheeky monkeys) by tuk tuk which we had to pay for. On arrival we were given a briefing and spoke to Nicco (who was very helpful arranging our tour!). They made us feel very at home there! The next day Nicco agreed to start our tour earlier, at 7:30, and do a 5 hour trek including tubing so that we could get back to Medan for a 7:30pm flight that day as well as arrange transport to the airport which was much better than the bus. On the tour we saw 4 orangutans which was amazing! Ricky was our tour guide and he was also great, spotting an orangutan in the first 5 minutes! All in all was an amazing experience and was very impressed by helpful they were at rearranging the tour timings in order for us to catch our flight and do it in two days, which is very handy if your short of time. Would have loved to stay longer and will hopefully be back to visit them again!!

We did a 2 days 1 night Jungle trekking with Bukit Lawang Adventures and it was amazing! Our guides Rio and Coco were very professional but also laidback and funny. We were lucky to see 11 Orang Utans in Total and a lot of other monkeys and animals. Coco told us about them and the plants of the jungle and Rio protected us if the monkeys came to close. The food was super good! Only the sleeping place was very primitive, we were told that there would be pillows and sleeping bags but it was just a thin matt with a even tinier cover. The location of the camp was beautiful though. Can really recommend doing your Jungle trek with Bukit Lawang Adventures!

We only had time for a three hour trek, however the shorter time did not mean our experience was less fun! The jungle was beautiful and we saw six orangutans and a whole lot of different animals! Are guide was also amazing, very chill, nice and helpful guy who answered all the questions we had, thank you so much!

An incredible experience from start to finish, I can't recommend Bukit Lawang Adventure highly enough. Our guide Coco was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and experienced, and spoke very good English. We saw lots of Orangutan along with several different types of monkey! The food we had in the Jungle was some of the best we've had in indonesia, we stopped several times for fresh fruit breaks, and the food cooked at camp for us was restaurant quality! I would also recommend the river tubing back to town, it was great fun! Even though it was the start of the rainy season, the weather was very good. It's almost always sunny in the day, and only rains late in the evening and overnight!

Nico was very helpful booking our jungle trek and came to see us the day before to make sure we knew what to bring and for us to ask him any questions. Coco and another man (sorry I forgot your name!) were our guides on the first day where we saw lots of orangutans and other monkeys! We stopped for some fresh fruit and lunch along the way which was amazing and tasty! The guides spoke good English and were lovely and helpful. On the second night we played games with them which was a good laugh. The mattress' were a bit hard but it's the jungle! We still got a relatively good night's sleep when you get used to the jungle music! The places where you camp are beautiful and right next to rivers for cooling down after a days trekking! In the morning we got tea/coffee, biscuits and breakfast made which was good. On the second morning we also watched orangutans and monkeys while we ate breakfast! It's an amazing trip and the team made it even better, so thank you!
