About a 20 minute drive from the Ancient Chariots museum. Tickets were 40 Yuan, don't fall for the 'double for foreigners' scam! A newly built castle like museum filled with artifacts from the Qi dynasty. Interesting if you're into this period. Most of the busts of famous Qi's have an English translation. A nice little shop where I bought a genuine, well that's what I was told, 2500 year old Qi knife coin for 30 Yuan which I now use as a key fob.

The first centralised capital of China, such as it was, was here north of Linzi, near Zibo, during the Warring States Period of China around 300BC. It was an important time in Chinese history. The museum appears to be located on or near the site of the Jixia Academy, akin to the first university in the world. The Qi kingdom was the precursor to the creation of the dynasties that ruled China for the next 2000 years. Now it is factories and paddocks, but this amazing museum has been built to honour the history of the region. Tricky to get to (I caught a train to Zibo and a taxi to the site, and pretty much only found it by accident in the end). But well worth it for Chinese history buffs.

The day I went was perfect. It was cold and miserable outside.
Having visited many tourist attractions in China I was pleasantly surprised to find a fair amount of english translation.
There are some smaller exhibits while didnt have as much english were nice to just look at.
The entire building is very modern and clean
