Quingyin Pavillion is a deserved highlight but the whole hike from Wuxiangang bus stop to Hong Chung Ping is a delight. It starts as a broad foot path passing through a resort and hotel district and develops into a beautiful foot path through a scenic mountain gorge.

On the way down the mountain, we needed a place to rest - this was a great spot! Just up the path there's a great restaurant, there's the temple to explore, there are covered pavilions with benches to rest, and there are many benches where you can watch the rushing water of the river go past. It's surrounded by big trees, and everything is covered in moss (warning: moss is slippery, don't step off the main path and slip and fall like I did. The main path is kept nice and clear)…

Near the foot of the mountain, the Pavilion is a nice place to sit and listen to the rushing water and enjoy the view. It's a long hike down and this is the perfect place to reflect and just have a moment of peace and relaxation.

This place was extremely nice when we started climbing up on Day 1. We passed by here again on our descent on Day 2, and it was completely different. Alot of tourists, and the sound of the water couldnt be heard, so sad! Qingyin means "clear sounds" in mandarin.

I loved the feel of water rushing by after a nice hike down the mountain from Wannian Temple. This is a must see.
