Beautiful views up and down the river from here, and gives a great view of whale rock, and the ocean. Highly recommended

Head to the foot bridge, walk a further 1.8kms and you are rewarded with amazing views. All that is needed is a mild fitness level. If in Tidal River do yourself a favour and do visit!

It is a river made with tides. It has one wooden bridge which connects to forest and then to another beach. It has few view points on the way. It is not a loop you have to come back on same route.

The bridge overTidal River provides access to the north side of Tidal River, much more attratctive than Tidal River Campground. There are some picturesque and interesting walks along this side of the river.

Relaxing walk on the bridge with great views. For those who like fishing, there are marked fishing platforms provided. Kids loved this walk.

Not far from the Tidal River carpark, we crossed on our walk to squeaky beach. The whole walk was gorgeous and I'd recommend it to everyone who comes down to the Prom. Don't miss heading to Pillar Point for some great views... but back to the footbridge - it's also beautiful and got some great shots of it, its reflection and the gorgeous scenery around it!

The Tidal River Footbridge is just behind the campsite. There are lots of people enjoying the river - fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding etc. The walk across the bridge and up to Pillar Point is stunningly beautiful, and offers breathtaking views. Highly recommended!
