    Spectacular Tiger Safari
Deenu was our driver in jeep 188. He ensured we saw the best of the tiger reserve. We saw tigers in both our morning and afternoon safari and Deenu’s driving skills were exceptional. Our guide Sateya kept us well informed. Deenu manouvered us up close to waterholes so we could see the wildlife clearly. Our trip was amazing.

A dream of seeing tiger ind the wild came true
Amazing place with wonderful beautiful nature and lots of different animals. The dream of seeing wild tigers was fulfilled. On 5 safari trips in February we saw 9 tigers! The most skilled driver and park guide tracked them down for us. We felt happy and very lucky.

A must visit for all nature lovers coming to Central India
A great place to experience the rich wilderness of Central Indian forests. We had a smooth entry process for our safari in Tala zone, subsequent to a transparent reservation system. We were welcomed by a troop of langurs and a variety of birds. The naturalist in our safari vehicle was an experienced person. We also saw herds of spotted deer, quite a few healthy sambar, few gaur. We were lucky to had a glimpse of a tiger. It’s a must visit for any tiger or nature lover visiting this part of India. The park also has a rich history.

    Fantastic experience!
We had a wonderful time at Bandhavgargh National park. We saw amazing scenery and wildlife. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and amazing at spotting and pointing things out to us. We had some great sightings of tigers one of which walked past our jeep no more than 4 meters away! Everyone was so great with our 7 and 10 year old who had the best experience ever. Our driver Dinu was absolutely brilliant. Such a great driver and so kind, friendly and helpful. We hope to go back again some day.

    Outstanding Experience
This is a much smaller park than Kanha. The zones are separated and each has its own gate which makes coming and going a lot easier. There’s not a lot of wasted time driving around until we arrive at our designated zone. We were very lucky to have had a very experienced naturalist. He was able to find paw prints and based on his knowledge, know where the Tiger would be going. We saw a tiger at 4 out of 5 safaris we had. The only missed one was Magdhi which is supposedly not too common to spot tigers. We saw a lot of other animals there.

    Third Time Lucky in Bandhavgarh
We were a group of 9. We reached Bandhavgarh from Panna National Park on 29th March, 2024, and checked in at Tiger Trails resort, with the amazing hospitality of the manager Shri Mukesh Yadav and his team for the next 4 nights. This was my 3rd trip to Bandhavgarh National Park.We had 7 safaris in totality, 4 in Khatauli, 2 in Tala & 1 in Maghdi zone. Nandu was our gypsy driver in all the safaris. Fantastic and highly enthusiastic person. We sighted Chota Bheem a huge male tiger in Ban Talao in our 1st safari. In our 2nd safari we sighted Dahariya Female. In our 3 rd safari we saw Dahariya Female, Katiwah Female & aagain Chota Bheem with a majestic stroll. In our 4th and last safari in Khitauli we sighted Katiwah Female in Ban Talao with her 3 cubs for hours. We were not luckly to spot tigers in our safaries at Maghdi and Tala. A leopard was sighted at dusk in Tala. The landscapes of both these zones were amazing. The Tiger Trails resort is a mid budget resort with amazing food, both Veg & Non Veg, at Lunch & Dinner. Menu was changed every day. The resort has a natural feel of the forest. Rooms are Ok. The entire staff was highly cooperative and guest friendly. Last but not the least, Shri Mukesh Burman, a very popular personality of Bandhavgarh, organised our trip to Bandhavgarh in a hassle free manner. He booked the safaris, arranged the Gypsies, provided best drivers of his team for the safaris, booked the resort and provided us with 2 Innova's for our entire 8 nights 9 days trip covering Panna Bandhavgarh and Sanjay Dubri. Amazed by his knowledge of Bandhavgarh. He is also a guide in Bandhavgarh for decades. Many many thanks for the excellent services provided by Shri Mukesh Burman during our trip at a very reasonable price. 9425344631 is Mukesh Burman's cell number & mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com is his mail ID. You can contact him for his services & guidance. Will love to visit again.

Tiger Sightings at Bandhavgarh National Park - Magnificent
My trip to Bandhavgarh National Park was unforgettable. The highlight was spotting three magnificent Bengal tigers, as well as a leopard on our last safari—an awe-inspiring moment. The park's dense forests, grasslands, and wildlife made every safari exciting. Found the park to one of the most professionally and ethically run in India. Before and during the trip, I had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. Mukesh Burman, who helped us organize our safaris and taxi bookings, and also provided great recommendations for our time in the park. I can't recommend him highly enough! His deep knowledge of the park's wildlife, flora, and history was evident from the start. Mukesh was not only informative but also friendly and approachable, making the trip feel personal and engaging. For anyone planning a visit, you can reach him at 9425344631 or via email at mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com.

Well-Organized Bandhavgarh Trip with Mukesh Burman
Our recent trip to Bandhavgarh National Park was a great experience, thanks to the excellent services provided by Mukesh Burman. Mukesh is not only a highly knowledgeable guide with decades of experience in Bandhavgarh but also a well-known and respected personality in the area. He went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and enjoyable. Mukesh handled everything effortlessly—he booked our safaris, arranged Gypsies with the best drivers from his team, secured our stay at Tiger Trails (a great resort managed by Mukesh Yadav), and provided smooth pick-up and drop-off services to Jabalpur. We had five safaris in total: Khitauli (2 safaris): Spotted two 1.5-year-old tiger cubs on our first safari but no tigers on the second. Dhamokhar (1 safari): Witnessed a leopard with its kill. Tala (1 safari) and Maghdi (1 safari): No tiger sightings here. However, it was Choti Diwali, and fireworks in the area, combined with the abundance of water in the forest, might have impacted the chances of tiger sightings. Additionally, the new GPS-based system implemented by the forestry department enforces a 20 kph speed limit, which further limits opportunities for tiger sightings. This, of course, is beyond the control of guides and drivers. Mukesh’s deep knowledge of Bandhavgarh’s wildlife and terrain truly enhanced our experience, and his services were offered at a very reasonable price. We are so grateful for his efforts and highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Bandhavgarh. You can reach Mukesh Burman at: 📞 +91 9425344631 📧 mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com Looking forward to visiting again!

Our decision to do a tiger safari in late Oct 2024 as part of our India trip was made incredibly late considering - too late in fact as all our efforts at the various parks and reserves were unsuccessful.

It is not an understatement to say that our guide Mukesh Burman was, with a lot of juggling, was able to find us the only 3 days available that suited in the stunning Bandhavgarh National Park. He arranged everything including our accommodation, transport and various other requests we put his way .

From the outset, I must say Mukesh is not only an incredibly honest and fine person but with 20 years experience guiding he was able to able to put us in front of most of the amazing wildlife the park has to offer. His ability to locate and identify the many bird species was especially pleasing to us.

He was extremely adept at reading whichever species and communicating with our driver in order to create the best angle to photograph them. When at times a tiger was sighted you are not always the only vehicle in pursuit of the perfect picture. He was able to read the situation in relation to the habits of a particular animal, the possibilities given the environment, and also the light available at the time which was incredibly important. In short, he made the difference - our experience was amazing, the images incredible. We cannot thank him enough.

Murkesh can be reached on his cell on 9425344631 or at mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com

My family and I did 7 safaris over 3 days across all three core zones of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in March 2023 and every safari was a breath taking experience. While we love chasing and sighting tigers, we equally love the experience of going into the jungle and becoming one with Mother Nature. In both regards, Bandhavgarh did not disappoint - the Magadhi zone was possibly the prettiest forest we have been to and each tiger we saw had character and a thrilling back story. We saw 8 tigers but the highlight was a solo sighting of a tigress by the name of Darraha Bachhi - we were fortunate enough to stumble upon her on our way out of the park and we were the only jeep there. The tigress was by herself resting on the road. She started slowly walking up the road the moment she saw us but not before giving us ample photo opportunities. We followed her trail for a good 5 minutes before she decided to go into the bushes and vanish. The entire experience was put together by TravelGleam Wild (9958993316, 9899954675) whom I highly recommend. The owner Sourabh is an authority on Indian jungles and tigers and carefully crafts the experience. The driver cum guide Banty organized by TravelGleam was clearly the best in the business and we credit our awesome experience largely to Bantys experience and enthusiasm

This Bandhavgarth Tiger Reserve was wonderful. The tiger safaris were exceptional. We had the absolute best guide Ashish Bais and when the local tracker and guide, Mukesh Yadav, joined our safari we spotted tigers many times. One time the tiger followed our vehicle for a half hour. Beautiful pictures. Super guides who were kind, fun and excellent at what they due. The Bandhavgarh tiger reserve was the best that we could have ever wanted. Thanks.

We took 5 safaris in Bandhavgarh totalling 17 hours and didn’t see a single tiger in mid-December.

We visited Tala zone in the afternoon twice and once in the morning and visited Magadhi in the morning and afternoon and the best that 5 different guides and drivers could muster was 2 tiger footprints in the dirt and hearing a tiger growling in the background but not a single sighting.

The weather was clear and Bandhavgarh is listed as having the best chance of seeing a tiger in all of India as the density of Bengal tigers is apparently second to none.

The driver’s and guide’s tactics seem to race around the park as fast as possible when entering in the vain hope that a tiger will be on the road and when nothing then they stop and listen for warning calls from other animals that would signify a tiger might be present. The Jeeps have to stick to the roads so can’t access much of the park. The final tactic is to hope that someone else sees a tiger and then race around to that location but more often than not that is a tall story of a possible tiger.

The best indicator that the lack of tigers is the norm is the sign on the way out saying “Don’t be disappointed if you haven’t seen a tiger, they will have seen you”…

Visiting Bandhavgarh national park was one of the most remarkable experiences since Covid hit us.
Raring to go out and have a forest vacation, we picked Bandhavgarh due to the high density of tigers here as compared to others...eventually it turned out to be a great choice!

Over the course of 5 safaris, we sighted 7 different tigers which made the entire trip worth it. A large part of this experience is picking a driver and a guide who are really good and also work well together – this makes a huge difference. The park has 3 gates out of which Magadhi gate is the most popular one I reckon so try to get at least one safari here. Another tip is if you had to choose, pick a morning safari over an evening one – at least in winters. We had significantly better sightings in the morning.

We had done all our bookings via Mukesh Barman (9425344631, mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com) who is a well-known guide and has built up quite a reputation in the region over decades. He arranged an excellent guide and a really good driver to accompany us on our safaris and also managed our hotel bookings. Also recommended a few modifications to our overall itinerary which we found helpful. Highly recommend you talk to him before you plan your trip.

Recently we visited Bandhabgarh National Park from 12.10.21 to 13.10.21 with my son. We booked Jungle Safari through Shri Mukesh Baraman(mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com, 9425344631) . We visited Tala and Maghdhi Zone for 2 safaris. We spotted different kind of animals at Tala Zone and able to find a tiger from a distant place but could not see any tiger in morning safari at Maghdhi Zone. Our tour was organized by Shri Mukesh Barman who has vast experience in this line. He guided us and driver arranged by him was an amazing person and he tried his best for find out tiger.

We stayed at Blue Lotus Safari Resort, a newly constructed one, booked by Shri Mukesh Barman and this resort was a wonderful place to stay in surrounded by lush green jungle and the staff here is very helpful and humble. Food served by them is very tasty . Besides, you can enjoy time in swimming pool over there.

We recommend all who are planning to visit Bandhabgarh National Park ,take service of Mukesh Barman and also give a try to stay in Blue Lotus Safari Resort.
o that we c Me and my friends visited Bandhavgarh National Park on 27th Feb’21.

We’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Bandavgarh National Park. The sheer variety of fauna and flora we saw is mind boggling.

See paragraph at end for how to book safari permits which you should do as soon as your trip dates are finalised.

Best to book your safari vehicle, in advance, where the driver is crucial to enjoying all that Bandhavgarh offers. The guide, a must to entering the forest, may or may not be well informed/ communicate well.

We saw FOUR different tigers in Tala and Magdhi. And narrowly missed 2 in Khitauli.

However, even if you miss spotting a tiger, the forests are rich with Spotted deer, Sambar deer, Nilgai, Gaur, Langur, monkey, mongoose, wild elephant (Khitauli only), jackal, and an amazing variety of birds including an abundance of gorgeous peacocks.

Tala and Magdhi zone contain grassland as well as Sal trees. They’re dotted with man made and natural water bodies. It’s quite pleasant in the forest even at 11 am.

Khitauli is different .. lots of rocks and boulders and fewer Sal trees. We even saw tendu and wild basil among others.

The forest, is full of sounds.. many many bird calls, also when tiger movement happens, a variety of alarm call sounds from monkeys to peacocks.

Strongly recommend a visit here. You’ll be mesmerised.

Forest Permit booking
Prior to our trip I recommend you get your safari permits to avoid reaching there and being unable to get into the forest core zones.

Do keep at least 2 days for safari .. note: Wednesdays there is only a morning safari.

Safari timings are 6:15-11:30 am and 3:15-6:30 pm

Note: please carry printouts of the permits and your photo iD used for the bookings.

I and my husband visited BTR on 19th June 2022 . It was a very pleasant trip and everything was pre-booked. The man behind our comfortable stay and wonderful trip was Mr Mukesh Barman . Basically he prefers to be called a guide in bandhavgarh but I will tell you this man is truly helpful in every sense of the word. He gave me a big list of resorts to choose from, everyday he would call up and ask if everything is fine. He gave us the best driver ,Vijay Singh, nice and sober guy whose only intention was to let his guests have some spectacular sightings n shots of tigers, thereby making our trip even more special n memorable. If anyone is planning to visit bandhavgarh in the near future, please do contact Mukeshji for all your bookings , stay safari, n u name it, he is there to help you out with the best of his ability. His contact number is 9425344631 and his mail ID is mukeshmpsafari@gmail.com. We will keep going back to BTR for more spectacular tiger shots.

We did two safaris in Dec and were lucky to spot 3 tigers in our morning safari in Khitauli zone. Tala safari on the other hand was relatively scenic and the interesting part was the Sheshaya statute. All in all - MP govt. has done a good job of organizing safaris and its booking process is quite transparent. Worth planning

i visited Tadoba, Kanha, and Bandhavgarh and consider the probability of tiger sightings at Bandhavgarh to be second best after Tadoba. in terms of wildlife diversity however, i think Bandhavgarh fares quite a bit poorer compared to Kanha and Tadoba. drivers/guides at Bandhavgarh are more civilized compared to Tadoba, but not as good as Kanha, as i still observed several bad apples around.

i went on 5 safaris, and had 3 unique tiger sightings. I saw the same group of tigers again after an overnight, so if you count this, i have 4 total sightings. 3 out of 4 were up close/unhindered. my sightings were at Magadhi and Tala zones.

note that for each safari, in addition to gypsy fee (3000 INR), there are two different levels of guides in Bandhavgarh: G1 (600 INR) and G2 (480 INR). the difference, to my understanding, is their level of experience, and exams required to achieve G1 status. personally, i had a much better experience with G1 guides compared to G2, in terms of communication, seriousness, and expertise. so if you have a less than stellar experience with a G2 guide, then try getting a G1 guide assigned from roster to hopefully improve the experience. you may need a hotelier's favor to do this, or if you are like me, i just go straight to the Tala counter and request after getting fed up of my hotelier's lame (both real and unreal) excuses and carelessness in managing my permit - all these just to pocket the extra 120 INR and deny accountability. they later change their tune after fearing some negative feedback presumably. PM me if you need tips on how to get this done independently.
