If you have an extra day in Shirdi, a visit to Upasani Maharaj's Ashram at Sakori, 5 Kms away is highly recommended. I hired an auto for Rs.150 both ways. shri upasani kanyakumari sthan is bit far away from shirdi temple.it is not in the list of must visit place but do visit if you are in shirdi for long time.

Its place named "Shakori", where upasani maharaj living, who do last rites of Shri sai baba. This place is 5km away from shirdi. Here temple is operated by women. Good , nice and quiet place.

Shri Upasani Kanyakumari Sthan is situated at Sakori, a short distance from Shirdi. Upasani Maharaj, one of the disciples of Saibaba stayed for 4 yrs with Saibaba at Shirdi for his treatment and attained self-realization here. This is just an okay place. if you have time left and don't have anything to do in shirdi after pooja in temple. then you should visit this placce.

I will recommend every body must visit this place. My experience is like i felt very close to GOD. Please talk to the mataji's worshiping there and understand the background. Very rare to see women power to the fullest.

Any person familiar with important tourist centers in South India and those who have seen the last southern tip of India is familiar with Kanyakumari temple in Tamil Nadu. It is near to main mandhir along with the V.P Iyer's Samadhi, Shri Tatya Kote Samadhi. We are visiting this place after visiting the Dixit Wada Museum.
