I went to Upasani Maharaj Ashram. He was an ardent disciple of Sai Baba. Situated off the Shirdi-Ahmednagar State highway, the ashram contains the samadhi of the Maharaj and one of his disciples. It is great place to go.

Upasani Maharaj is believed to be the one and only disciple of Sai Baba though he has many devotees and followers around the globe today. The place is mended by women devotees and it is said that the Bramakumari Movement started by this devotee. This is a rare photo taken during Baba's younger days (in his 20s) One visiting Shirdi should make it a point to visit this peaceful and tranquilized Ashram. Om Sai Ram.…
