If you have not ventured into a proper wild life reserve give Sariska a try! This was my first visit to a wild life safari in a conservation area in India. We were rewarded with a lot of wild life (of the prey variety) and...More

The Main Sariska Gate of course. The Tehla gate is at the opposite side. Here's what we did. We took an Afternoon safari upon our arrival at Sariska. We stayed at Tiger Den, which is almost very near to the Sariska Gate. The next day being a Saturday, the Park is open to Devotees to visit Pandupol Mandir deep inside the forest. So first we visited the Bhangar Fort in the morning time. Then in the afternoon (3 pm entry closes) we entered into the Park to visit Pandupol temple. We had taken our hired vehicle and required to Pay about Rs 300. We visited the Panduplo temple and while returning followed the main road and reached our Tiger Den Hotel through the Sariska Gate. While visiting Pandupol temple and returining through Sariska Gate, we saw lot of wild animals. However, on this day, the private vehicles are not allowed to ply on the jungle roads that criss crosses the park. Although the chance of seeing a tiger on such trip where there is lot of crowd, is less, still one can see a lot of wildlife which is satisfying.
