Once you start you drive into the reserve itself, there are many surprises awaiting you. It has been a memorable experience, but disappointed not to spot a tiger.
Be aware of the dust .. wear shared and use a cap.
Not very far from Delhi and we took only 4 hours to reach the jungles.

Sariska has two entry Gates. The main Entry Gate is near the Booking Office as well as very near to the Tiger Den (RTDC) Hotel. If one is staying in this hotel or at the other hotel i.e. Sariska Palace, you can come down to the booking counter in a couple of minutes time and do the booking for safari. As I stayed in Tiger Den, I would recommend this gate as I found this to be convenient. The Safari jeep will come to your hotel for pick up. The second gate is named Thela. I donot know whether Tourist can enter from this gate for Safari purpose.
As far as the routes are concerned, the routes are assigned by the Booking Office at the time of booking in order to distribute the safaris evenly. One may mention the routes but no guarantee of getting that one…
Avoid Saturdays and Tuesdays for Safari as on these days, the park is opened for devotees who travels to Pandupl temple deep inside the park.
We reached Sariska on 29th March in the noon time coming from Delhi. It was a Friday. Checked into Tiger Den Hotel (booked in advance), came straight to the booking office, booked aftrenoon ride for that day by standing in the que, came back to hotel to have lunch, the Safari jeep came to our hotel to pick up us. We had a great time, saw many animals, no regret for not seeing the Tiger. Had a Pleasant and serene stay at Tiger Den Hotel. The next day, went to see the Bhangar Fort. While returning, came to the Gate no. 2 on the other side of the park. It was a Saturday, so visited the Pandopul temple by entering through this gate. There is a common junction point where we came in the previous day. The pandopaul road goes the other way While returning from the Pandopal temple, again followed the main road (one cannot take the Safarai routes) and exited from the Main gate to reach Tiger Den hotel. On this day also we saw a lot of animals from the main road. Returned back to Delhi next day.

I advise to go one at a time for your own convenience and comfort. Road to Bhangarh fort is a mix of rough and metalled road. Driving overall is good with a bit of nice landscape surrounding.
Fun to drive.

Only on the main route leading to pandupole temple which is 20km from the main gate, that too only on Tuesdays and Saturdays. For venturing on safari routes, you've to either book a jypsy or canter. Hope it helps
