Great experience and excellent sighting of ST-9 female tigress
I did two safaris on the 22nd April afternoon and 23rd April morning with guide Ajay Prajapat (+91-9784173355). I was unsure about seeing a tiger as the chances of tiger spotting are less. Still, we were able to see the ST-9 female tigress in both safaris and that was made possible because of Ajay's excellent knowledge of tiger behavior and of Jungle. He has excellent knowledge not only about tigers but other animals also, which helped us to understand the whole ecosystem better. His combination with driver Manish is amazing. I would highly recommend Ajay for the Sariska tiger reserve Safari.

    Great safari experience
We had 2 safari rides at Sariska. It was an amazing experience, primarily because of our guide Shyam(9166001735). Seemed like he knew the jungle inside out. We were able to witness 2 tigers due to his proactive tracking skills. I’d highly recommend to have your next ride with him.

Seeing the tiger completes your safari.
Excellent experience. Jungle safari is always scintillating but in a tiger reserve if u don't see tiger it's incomplete. Our Guide Mr. AJAY ( +919784173355 ) was an excellent guide. He heard warning calls of cheetal and langoor and traced mighty tigress. What a site it was. Mr Ajay kept on chasing the route of tigress and we crossed her on 3 different occasions. Your safari depends on good guide. I recommend Mr Ajay for it.

Tigress in her territory !! U beauty. .
Wow!! That's a wonderful experience!! Seeing a tiger in zoo is old experience to me now. Sighting a tigress in her territory is fantastic moment.. Our guide Mr.Ajay (mobile no: 9784173355) and the driver (forgot to ask his name) are true of gems in their respective fields.. Our guide knows very well how to identify the movement of tigress by observing the sounds of other small animals, looking after pug marks and many other ways. He kept on chasing the path in which it moved and finally we got to see the tigress (ST-9) thrice in a span of 45 min. The driver is so experienced in driving in the forest and took to the expected spots where tiger can move as directed by guide Mr.Ajay in lightning speed is simply fantabulous

    Sariska Tiger Sighting Experience
Sariska's reputation is not great for sighting the tiger. However, we two friends have decided to take a chance. We did only one-afternoon safari. It was quite tough in the temperature of 44 degrees. We approached guide Ajay ( 9784173355 ) who has good knowledge about the jungle. He is well-versed about the jungle and the movement of the Tiger. He asked the driver to wait patiently at certain points and while leaving just before 30 min we got lucky to sight the Tiger ST-9.

I am an avid wildlife lover. I have been visiting sariska safari since childhood. Finally after 34 years , multiple visits I was able to have my first tiger sighting. This only became possible because of our tour guide Mr. Ajay bhaiya. He was on point with the navigation while we were tracing the tigress St - 09. Because of his guidance during the safari and all the right decisions that he took towards the end we were able to finally encounter the beautiful tigress St - 09. We all felt that he really gave his best and because of him we had the opportunity to sight a tiger. I would recommend Ajay bhaiya as a tour guide to everyone who is visiting Sariska safari. He can be contacted on this no. - 9784173355. Really enjoyed

Sariska has unique habitat and absolutely wonderful landscape. I stayed at Tehla gate, where tourists are less, and tiger sighting is also mostly concentrated on the popular main Sariska gate towards Alwar. However, even from Tehla, all regions of the park can be explored.

Ajay was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to give us the best safari experience possible.

Make sure you do morning drives in winter, since scenery is great and excellent birding shots are possible due to the wonderful landscape, especially around Karnakawas lake. Even photographs of ordinary subjects come out very nice because of the backdrop. Birding highlights were Eurasian Wryneck and Black Francolin.

I highly recommend you do at least 3 to 4 safaris at Sariska, with Ajay (97841 73355) as the guide. We also saw ST21 tiger due to Ajay's efforts at constantly tracking the activity of the tiger and being knowledgeable about its habits and movements.

I visited sariska tiger reserve recently with a group of my college friends in December 2020.I had the most amazing time of my life in the woods of sariska national park.
Trip was filled with most thrilling and mesmerising moments.
We had the opportunity of sighting the tiger ST-21 which was the centre of attraction along with many other wildlife animals. Seeing them out open in their natural habitat is all total a different experience.
Overall it was fun and a lifetime experience for all of us.
All credit for making this trip a huge success goes to our guide Shyam Sundar (9166001735) who is a naturalist and a guide for wildlife safari. I highly recommend his services if you wanna feel the aesthetics of sarika tiger reserve.

The Reserve claims to have 20 plus tigers and a 100 plus leopards;tiger sightings are not rare whereas leopards are much shier of us humans . We were luckier to see a lone leopard from reasonably close range for a good length of time but no such luck with any tiger.
The Reserve has peacocks/ hens , langurs , monkeys and deers in hundreds as well as wild boars , variety of birds and crocodiles.
The gypsy / canter rides are on time though a tad expensive , tracks are dusty and uneven to give one a real bumpy ride for over three and half hours with a very few dirty and unmaintained public conveniences.

If you are a wild life enthusiast then this is the perfect place for you. its almost the same distance away from Jaipur as Ranthambore but this is a much better tiger reserve. Its not commercial at all... you can easily get a safari at Rs 5000-6000. Only 15 jeeps go inside at one point of time and there are 2 slots in the day. The Forest rangers keep a very good track of the movement of the 25+ tigers that are present in the National Park. I went there in the first week of December and spotted 2 Tigers in 3 safaris. One T9 also called choti..A tigress and T21 also called Yuvraj...one of the biggest male tigers. Both the experiences where extremely thrilling as the tigers walked towards our jeep and moved forward. This was all possible because of the connections our guide had who has a very good experience in this national park- Ajay +91 97841 73355. If you plan to go there please get in touch with him for all bookings.

Went to sariska national park in april and sighted a tiger and tigress during the evening safari. We went with guide Shyam Sundar (91660 01735). He's the best Guide possible, knows all good routes and zones and is always the first one to spot tigers in the park. He is also very knowledgeable about
the jungle, other animals and birds overall. Just close your eyes and contact Shyam if you are visiting Sariska!

We visited Sariska Tiger Reserve along with my family and friends in the month of October 2021. We wanted to be there on the season opening safaris and our mission was to track and sight ST21, the male tiger.

We booked multiple safaris through TravelGleam Wild (Sourabh Garg- 9958993316 , 9899954675) to increase our chances to see the habitat and habitants of Sariska Tiger Reserve. The team at TravelGleam Wild booked 5 exclusive gypsy safaris for us as it is difficult to book them in season opening and specially on weekends.

We had an amazing sighting of ST21 on our third safari after tracking him for almost 2 hours. The naturalists at TravelGleam Wild, Shyam and Arjun were extraordinary in reading the signs and tracking the tiger through his pug marks.

We are highly thankful to Sourabh and his team for all the hassle free bookings and their exceptional insights about Sariska Tiger Reserve

I had planned to visit Alwar with my other family friend(total 7 members). We visited SARISKA NATIONAL PARK. We were very excited and were in hope to see tigers for the first time. We hired a Safari for the ride, and it cost around INR10000. As soon as the exciting trip started we also started seeing a lot of wildlife including 'sambar', wild pig, deers, 'langoors', . We also saw a big Tiger four times because our driver knew the Tiger way. We were very happy after seeing Tiger.

Safari Driver and Guide were awesome. We would recommend visiting Sariska National Park at least one time and you may book this safari guide(Raju- 9680525872).

We recently went to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve hoping to see a tiger in the wild. No luck. We then went on to Sariska Tiger Reserve and saw 2 leopards on our first drive and a tiger and a leopard on our second drive! Our Guide, Ajay (+91 9784173355) was every bit as excited for us as we were ourselves. To see a tiger in the wild was my main reason for my return trip to India. We greatly appreciated Ajay’s very diligent work in his search to find the lion. Very happy to recommend him.

Sariska is a grand success story for its unique tiger relocation programme. From 0 tigers in 2008 to at least 24 in 2022 is a very good progress. Park still has its share of challenges, however making good progress in resolving those challenges.

From tourism perspective, it's one of the finest parks in India, where one can find diverse range of wildlife and birds living in their natural jungle habitat.

About 260+ bird species have been recorded here till date. In early summers, one can spot the migrating birds here as well.

One can easily see herds of Sambar, spotted deer, Indian gazelle and blue bull. Much coveted cat species like jungle cat, Indian leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger live here in good numbers. Indian striped hyena, wild boars and golden jackals also inhabit here.

Indian marsh crocodile, monitor lizard, rock python and other reptiles can also be seen here

Connectivity:
Situated 35 kms from Alwar city. Its just 3 hrs drive from Gurgaon and about the same from Jaipur. Nearest airports are Delhi and Jaipur

Best places to stay:
Tiger Den (RTDC)
Sterling Sariska

Safari Booking:

Advance booking can be done online, after which permit has to be collected from ticket window on the day of safari and a random guide and driver will be allocated.
However, I would recommend selecting an experienced guide to maximise your chances of best sightings. Experienced guide have great knowledge about jungle and idea about the recent sightings and possible locations of big cats on the given day. You can contact the guide directly and he / she will take care of bookings and permit issue.

Ajay Kumar is one of the most experienced and expert guides there. You can reach out to him at: +91 97841 73355
