Famous beach from the movie with beautiful surrounding and crystal clear water. Could be really crowdy and commercial in main season. Reasonably good cliffs on the right hand side being good for snorkeling. Quite many wasps around. Worth to visit and enjoy.

This beach, famed for the scene in the 'Mandolin' film when the occupying Italian soldiers shaved in tents, whilst singing "Donna e Mobile". Now much commercialised, with a good restaurant and cafe/bar. Worth the tricky drive up and over the ridge to visit.

Well, Myrtos gets all the publicity but Antisamos is so much better. Drive to the very end to the original beach bar, who also own the well organised watersports set up which is tucked away at the very end away from sunbathers, swimmers and snorkellers.

Spent a day at this lovely beach. Pebble beach so I would recommend water shoes or sandals for swimming. Beds are free to use if you purchase something from the bar. Water here is crystal clear, perfect. Don't know if it was the time of...More

Beach just outside Sami (along a long winding road). There is ample free parking, and the sun beds and free to use. Plenty of bars for refreshments/food.

Beautiful beach with lovely surroundings. Very quiet this time of year! Free sunlongers if you buy something from the beach bar, and it was so quiet this late in the season that it is no struggle to get a space. Only issue we had today...More

Hi, yes it is a distance to walk to Antisamos beach. I advice you to take a taxi from Sami. I had a rent a car, and did not see any local buses traffic the area. Good luck and enjoy Kefalonia!!
