Matnog town is 2,5 hours (120km) away from Legaspi. And accessable by way of a very nice 4-lane curvy road, where even average speeds of 60km can be achieved. I was plesantly surprised. Access to beach is another hour by boat. One has to register...More

White and pink sand island just across one of the busiest port in Sorsogon. The water is really clear with some rock formation on the other side. Instagram worthy place! Visit Juag lagoon to complete your trip to the islands!

The water is cool and clean. One could see the passing ships to and fro the port of town of Matnog. One does not even have to pay anything... just a small donation is enough. BUT, there is no bathroom here.

Try to search for G-Eco tours. This is the social enterprise of Bantay Kalikasan. They just started on a test phase for eco-tourism in this area last February 2015.
