Definitely worth a visit
Jun 2019 • Couples
Staying nearby at Ampugnano (about 5km), this lovely little vineyard is worth visiting if are nearby.
Barbara the host, is very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful 2 hours here walking around the vineyard and the winery. But the best bit of course was the wine tasting!! Excellent with nice nibbles and cheese.
Thank you Barabara for a lovely time, we really enjoyed the visit and your guided tour. (Sorry for the belated post).

Excellent wine degustation
Sep 2018 • Friends
Last minute reservation for a wine degustation without problem with the friendly manager. Proposed wines were from excellent quality with great explanation. No sparkling wine available and only 1 white wine. The tour takes not 1 hour and you certainly will find what you like. Very beautiful domaine.

Jul 2017 • Couples
For lunch i found out that there very close ro were we stayed. We had no reservation.
A quick mail to ask if we could still come the same day. It didnt took Barbara more than 30 min (👍🏻) to respon. We could go the same day.
An well what to say. Its was a super nice afternoon.
She showed us all for the winery. We supposed to tast 3 different wine. But we could try almost everything they have.
The wines are all pretty good. And its really worth visiting Barbara an the winery. Good that we still had some space in our car.

Wonderful

Barbara is the kindest person you will meet. Eager to explain their process of making the wine and lets you try the ones you would like. She even drove us back to our b&b since we walked there and it was over 30 degrees Celsius! Just wonderful!

Great wine, terrific views

My wife and I were staying at an agroturismo very close to here. We decided to stop in and check it out.
They have Chianti Collesi which is different from Chianti Clasico. Still DOCG, no Black Rooster.
Tercciano uses 100% Sangiovese in their Chianti's. They are very good, and easy/ready to drink. They are not very complex, which was very refreshing since most tours take you to wineries where big bold wines are the main attraction.
We walked in, got a nice little tour of the cellar and had a nice tasting we were allowed to lead.
We were happy to find out that they started distributing in Texas so we should be able to find their wine back home.

Great Wine, beautiful vineyard 20 min from Siena

We were staying nearby and found this winery as we were driving through. They are closed over lunch so check the hours on the website and let them know when you are coming, but do yourself a favour and check it out if you are in the area. The vineyard with beautiful and the wines and olive oil delicious and well priced. Barbara welcomed us warmly and let us taste each of their wines. We went home with two cases!

Lovely tour and wine tasting
Jul 2014 • Couples
During our holiday in Tuscany, my wife and I visited Tenuta di Trecciano for a wine tour and tasting. The estate is situated in a beautiful area with a lovely view over the vineyard. We were welcomed very friendly by Barbara. She showed us the cellars where the production of their wines takes place, giving us background on the production process. After the tour we had a tasting of their lovely wines. Barbara told us everything we wanted to know about the wines. It is also possible to buy their wines directly at very fair rates. If you are a wine enthusiast and staying in the area, I highly recommend visiting Trecciano (be sure to make a reservation for the tour)!
