Highly recommend this climb. Even though it says 3 hrs, I think that time is probably for people who never move. Someone of average fitness can do this in under an hour. A couple of things to note. 1. There are no toilets, so you...More

A group of 15 bushwalking ladies acccepted a challenge to do this hike. The trail was well marked, bit steep in places but well worth the views at the top Not so many other walkers as Coolum so we were able to go at our...More

Short walk 40 minutes to the top. There isn't really a "top' but there is a viewing platform if you keep to the left.

We walked up in the early in the day which provided great views of the morning sun hitting Mount Coolum, the coast, Yandina and surrounding countryside. There were some who passed us on the way doing their own time trials to the top. As a...More

The Mt Coolum track was temporarily closed for an evacuation (very crowded there) so we headed to Mt Ninderry. From the top of Mt Ninderry, you get great views up and down the coast and the farmlands with Mt Coolum itself right in the middle...More

The Mt Ninderry walk is probably the least used of the 4 local walks in the northern Sunshine Coast area - the others being Mt Cooroora (King of the Mountain), Mt Coolum and Mt Tinbeerwah. This walk is probably the easiest (with Mt Tinbeerwah), more...More

Hi, well we saw dogs on the track, and some of them were not even on a lead, so I would say yes that should be ok, but I didn't actually read the sign at the start of the walk.
