We spent a wonderful six days with Annie to celebrate my BIG Birthday. We learned so much about Moroccan food taking back recipes which are useable here at home. We've also been educated in and converted to the ways of sherry which is not, at all, the old lady drink we thought! We stayed in the Africa suite at the... More

I did the one week course with a most congenial group, staying at the lovely Califa hotel. Vejer is a delight, packed with innovative reataurants and bars, Annie is passionate about her subject, especially Sherry in its various forms, tuna in all its parts, and all the wonderful fresh produce. The week was balanced between hands-on classes, visits to markets,... More

Annie B's cooking class was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended. We had a full day of cooking Andalusian dishes with her - we learnt so much, like filleting anchovies, using bread in cooking, and the history of sherry. We made a varied menu of meat, seafood, vegetables and sweets, and we tried local products from her pantry. Annie is extremely friendly... More

We really enjoyed our day with Annie and Pepi, learning about local produce as we shopped in Vejer de la Frontera for our cookery day and then turned amazing local ingredients into a delicious lunch. Annie pitched this just right, we learned such a lot but had a very enjoyable day too. We asked Pepi, Annie's assistant, to come to... More

A friend came to Cadiz from Houston, Texas. I'd heard about Anne B's cooking school and spoken with her. In no way was I prepared the fantastic experience we had!! Anne herself is so down to earth, informed, trained and FUN. We first did a walk about in the very nice foodie shops and market, then we went home to... More

Anne has a deep and personal knowledge of the Sherry country around Jerez. We were welcomed like old friends at every producer and given detailed information about everything they do to make great sherries. And, then we had a fabulous lunch at a never-to-be-forgotten tapas bar in Sanlucar, washed down with an elegant manzanilla. We gained a deep understanding and... More

Imagine visiting one of Andalusia's most picturesque white villages and spending the day sharing great local food and fine sherry! Annie shared all kinds of tips and secrets of Spanish cooking as a part of a hands on class that ended with a sunny rooftop dinner. Annie created a wonderful menu to help me celebrate my birthday with family that... More

Our group consisted of 6 including people from England, Wales, Scotland, Australia and Spain. Ok, so I'm a basic cook, but my sister, who booked this, and my good friend, a trained cook, both had as much fun as I did. I may be basic but my sister is an excellent cook and not one of us were bored. What... More

My husband bought me a cookery course with Annie B. It was so much more than I expected. The town (Vejer) is breathtakingly beautiful, the cookery school is in a very typical Spanish home with patio, terrace and pool and Annie is incredibly knowledgeable about Spanish food. I've come home feeling very confident about the dishes I was taught and... More
